Talley's Cabins is a private retreat in Hilham, TN (Clay County), set on 47 acres with hiking trails, creeks, and small waterfalls. The cabin features a Smart TV, WiFi, hot tub, gas fireplace, central air/heat, fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, tankless water heater, king and full-size beds, grill, games, linens, and decks with scenic views.

Cabin #2 has two bedrooms and can accommodate four for sleeping arrangements, but is most comfortable for two guests, and its common space reflects this.

No smoking or pets allowed.

Nearby attractions include Dale Hollow Lake, Mitchell Creek Marina, Standing Stone State Park, Cummins Falls State Park, and the towns of Celina, Gainesboro, Livingston, and Cookeville.

For GPS, use 764 Hickory Lane, Hilham, TN. Arriving during daylight is easier due to dark country roads. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away; bring supplies. Cell service is limited, especially AT&T.

Everything went smooth and easy; hosts are communicative and available; cabin is very clean and cozy. Hot tub is very clean and relaxing. We had a wonderful weekend 'away from it all'. Lots of privacy and, although you feel like you are well away from civilization, there are some towns not too far, and parks to visit. Great cabin. Great spot.

This cabin has everything you need. The outdoor furniture was well thought out and great quality. There is a fire pit, hammock, hot tub, large outdoor seating, everything you need inside to cook, and even toiletries if you forgot something. The host was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The place was spotless. I loved the snacks and filtered water! 10 stars for thinking of filtered water! They really have went above and beyond in trying to think of anything you could need. Also appreciated the book of instructions and info. If I had to give anything that could improve, it would be the mattress quality but that also could be my preference and a hard top hot tub cover vs the soft one currently to avoid the rain water.

We could really tell the Talley's care about providing guests with a great experience. The hot tub was clean and hot, firewood was stacked and ready, and there were even farm fresh eggs in the fridge! We had an excellent stay and loved getting away from the busyness of life!

Cozy cabin in the woods

This is such an adorable cabin tucked away on a hillside. There are great trails on the property and it is so quiet and peaceful. The owners made us feel so welcome and the cabin had the most comfortable beds! This is a great place to stay for some R&R.

Cabin #2 afforded us a private and peaceful getaway. We sat on the porch in the mornings, enjoying the birds chirping and deer walking closely by in the woods. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with the necessities for meal preparation. We enjoyed the hottub very much. Firewood was there for our use at the firepit. The fireplace in the living room was so nice and cozy. The hosts supplied an abundance of breakfast items, including farm fresh, cage-free eggs and a full-service coffee bar. There was seating areas on all sides of the wrap-around porch. The cabin was seasonally decorated inside and out. The hosts provided very specific directions on finding the cabin as well as complete instructions for our stay. We highly recommend the Talley's Cabins for a relaxing getaway and plan to return for another visit.

The cabin was georgous. It was very clean. Steve and Dana made sure we had everything we needed right there in the cabin including breakfast, which was very delicious. We loved the area. Dana and I have had the hospitality vision for a while now. We started this adventure in 2012. We would just hop in the Jeep and take off and explore all the surrounding counties of Nashville. We knew what we wanted and we found it the beautiful hills of Clay county and Dale Hollow Lake.
We then decided to open a catering business offering fresh home cooked meals. Hence, the opening of Dana’s Dishes. Together, TC&B and Dana’s Dishes is eager to serve you.
