Family Friendly Sonoma County Home

Sonoma County is open and we invite you to come visit. Restaurants are open to outdoor dining. Stores, beaches, attractions and wineries are open.

This home is ideal if you’re looking for a comfortable home away from home. Located in Historical Petaluma in the heart of Sonoma Valley Wine County. You’ll be minutes from great dining, boutiques and antiques and only 30 miles to SF, the coast or Napa Valley.

You’ll fall in love with the town and feel at home in this lovely house. It’s set it up for families/ friends to relax and entertain without leaving the yard yet close enough to walk downtown or take a quick ride to see the sights.

We do not allow large gatherings . We also ask that you respect the neighbors with no loud music in the yard. Park in the driveway or garage, three cars maximum.

This lovely place has all the comforts of home. You will love all the room for people to spread out to read a book, watch the birds or relax in the hot tub. It also has large spaces to gather for a meal in the dining room or play a game while enjoying a cozy fire in the living room.

The top deck is our Happy Place; just relax, flip on the fireplace and watch the stars. You may find yourself out there for hours enjoying the quiet, the fresh air and each other’s company. You’ll feel like you’re in the country with nothing but the sound of birds to distract you (or an occasional fox family if they come out to play).

If you have children, they will love the kids room, set up with a bunk bed and trundle, toys and a TV of their own (with the remote out of reach). For little ones there are shutters on the window for nap time and we can have a crib available to you as needed. The backyard is child friendly and large enough for a game of tag or hide and seek. Just watch them around the pool, it’s not fenced. If they get dirty, you can rinse them off in the outdoor shower.

All of the beds are set up with comfort in mind with quilts, comforters and plenty of pillows to help you get a great nights sleep.

The outdoor kitchen and bbq is a great alternative to dining out. With a lovely seating area and gas fire pit, you can grab a friend and chat while dinner is cooking.

The house is stocked with many amenities including spaces, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers, etc.

The yard gets sun all day. The valley blocks the wind so even if it’s cold in town, it will be warmer in the yard.

The pool isn’t heated. It’s warm in the summer and cold in the winter.

We back up to a graveyard. Check out the pictures, we love the view and the quiet.

There is a wood stove for a fire in the living room and wood on the side of the house. The family room fireplace is gas and easy to start. Instructions are in the manual for the deck heaters and we will have spare propane.

All the TVs are set up for netflix, etc. We don’t have cable. We do have WiFi
