Spectacular waterfront home on the end of a cul-de-sac! Bright, airy and immaculate! Four decks, including one off of the stunning 2nd floor Private Master Suite. Dramatic cathedral ceiling in the cozy, waterfront living room. A screened porch to host an outdoor dinner. Central heat for those off-season stays, and Central A/C for the summer stays, make this the perfect vacation house all year 'round. A sunny, well equipped, eat in kitchen for the gourmet cook. Down-draft cook top and gas grill; perfect for any meal. Beautiful sunsets on the Chincoteague Bay - Water views from every room! Large, hot water outside shower and an oyster shell path to the water so you can easily walk out to the bay to crab, fish and kayak.

Fall Getaway

Quiet weekend on the Bay. Enjoyed the upper deck off the master bedroom overlooking the bay. Beautiful Sunsets. Also screened in deck on first floor.

Friends Getaway

Had a relaxing few days here. BVery quiet; beautiful views and sunsets; lots of space for three couples, including four dining areas! Kitchen had everything one could need. Had a few minor issues initially, and most were taken care of quickly. Definitely recommend.

Great Vacation House

Blue Pointe is a wonderful vacation house. There are views of the water from every room. Various eating and sitting areas, both inside and out, provide a chance to take advantage of all weather conditions. The master bedroom's deck is spectacular! Although we didn't use the game room during our stay, it would be a great place for active children and adults to spend time during downtime from the outside.

Spring Break

The house was beautiful and we loved the gameroom. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and this was great as most of the restaurants on the island were closed for the off season. ( Microwave was a bit "glitchy" though). The nature preserve and surrounding salt marshes were lovely and really nice to explore before mosquito season!!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view was great. However for the rental fee I expected the house to be in better condition. It needs a deep clean! For example the tiles in the master bath were moldy and so was the shower curtain. Chinoteague the island did not disappoint. Weather was great and lots of nature to enjoy!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home on water, beautiful sunsets and critter viewing. We rented kayaks and went out almost everyday. We hosted dinners in the enclosed porch and movie nights in the living area which sat plenty. BBQ was empty but staff replaced next day. Check when you arrive or you may have to cook in the kitchen. I was disappointed in the dustiness above eyeline but nothing to gross like some of the rentals I’ve had in my life. Good communication with staff and they were always pleasant. Recommend you stay here!

August 2022 Stay

We stayed at blue point bayside. Location is excellent. The house needs a deep cleaning! Baseboards were dirty, master bath tile had yellow mold, dirty walls , kitchen cupboards were dirty etc. I expected more for the price of the rental. We did not use the game room but when we checked it out the air hockey game was broken. We love Chincoteague and the island activities did not disappoint. The house, however,I would not go back to.

Wonderful hub for family reunion. Easy kitchen to cook in and plenty of room for large dinners. The views and nature sounds were so relaxing. Humidity and mosquitoes present but not enough to stop the fun! Would prefer to not sweep and vacuum at end

Blue Pointe Phenomenal

Upon arrival the house more than met our expectations with the rooms, the bay views and the overall accessibility and information provided to help us make the most of our stay. We absolutely hope to return to this house next year to once again enjoy the amenities and balcony views.

Enjoyable vacation in a cozy home with stunning views.

We would love to go back next year, had such a great experience! Mosquitoes were a bit crazy but otherwise an AMAZING trip. Every room had a view. Was relaxing and my kids enjoyed the game room A LOT. My fav rooms were the screened in porch to have breakfast and coffee in the morning with that peaceful view and the deck off the master was beautiful and so Serene. BUT I was obsessed with the outdoor shower, just wished the hot water lasted a little longer. Overall our favorite family trip. Just beware, do not go to beach at night, again, mosquitoes were brutal!!!! Otherwise can not say anything bad about the house, Loved it!!! A lot of charming features and nice touches....the kids got a kick outta me saying good morning to them each day from the peekaboo window upstairs. Beds were comfortable. Hope to book again next year! Thank you for offering your home to us for a lovely family vacation that we will not forget!! A lot of great memories made ♥️
