Located in the very heart of Takaka township, this charming, comfortable three bedroom house is a great base for exploring the extraordinary natural environment of Golden Bay. Stroll or bike through the small town and enjoy cafes, restaurants, galleries and the Movie Theatre. Wake to the pleasant sounds of the Saturday Village Market, buy your fresh produce and meet the local characters. Come, stay and play. We would like you to enjoy your stay in Golden Bay.
This family friendly, fully fenced property is close to a wonderful playground, a skate park and the library. The pleasant outdoor living area provides a cozy place to relax.
There are plenty of great places to explore in and around Takaka. There is the famous Wholemeal Cafe, The Dangerous Kitchen which serves delicious pizzas and other excellent food, the Roots Bar sells craft beers, tapas and burger. These places are walking distance from the house. You can drive a bit and visit the famous Mussel Inn which is an awesome place for beer and a meal. There are many fabulous beaches in Golden Bay. You could go kayaking, paddle boarding, horse riding, walking in The Abel Tasman National Park, swim at the beaches or in rivers, go fishing, visit the purest springs in the Southern Hemisphere, walk to Wharariki beach and observe seals.
