Gorgeous and Relaxing

Beautiful, spacious and unique property right by the river. We spent four days having out, playing games and relaxing. Truly gorgeous property and very communicative hosts!

A great get away

Came and stayed with our large family ages 2-14. Plenty to keep them all entertained. Creek, hot tub, air hockey, ping pong and a yard prefect for bocce ball were major hits. Washer and dryer reduced stress more than expected. A great place!

Beautiful property

This was a short trip but it was perfect. I can’t say enough on how amazing the exterior is with the fire pits, grass area and creek right behind the property. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the game area! The owners were very accommodating and responded promptly! I would recommend to others and plan on renting again in the future!

Cabin by the creek

We had a good time playing along the creek and catching crawfish. I mean, a lot of crawfish. I cooked cleaned about 250 and we had crawfish Alfredo! We also enjoyed lawn games downstairs in the evenings and table games upstairs at night. Like every house along the water you have some bugs and spiderwebs but the house is kept up nicely with everything you need to have a fun and relaxing stay.

Beautiful Cabin! Right on Creek!!!

We stayed in Aaron's cabin for the first time and we will definitely be back. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and had 8 adults and kids up there and were by far comfortable! Most definitely exceeded our expectations. The cabin / house was perfect for this celebration. It is right on the creek with great trout fishing! The cabin had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, fresh towels, cable to watch the final four :), and fishing rods. The floor plan is wide open and even has a game room with ping pong and air hockey. We had a great time walking up and down the creek while fishing. Aaron was amazing throughout our stay. He called to ensure everything was going well and followed up after our stay as well. Thank you Aaron for making our stay a memorable one!

Beautiful views

Our host was super accommodating and let us check in a little early since we came into town earlier than expected. They were also very quick to respond back to any questions we had. Awesome outdoor space with Cornhole available and kids toys, outdoor fire pit was incredible. There were fishing poles available which were a plus for the lake. The views were absolutely incredible and having multiple rooms in the house were a plus. A couple things about the property. Need access to more towels that also need to be updated. They all smelled old and mildewy, they definitely need to be tossed out. All of the mattresses in the house were super dated. Terrible spring mattresses except for the master king bed. My husband and I slept in the master and we did okay but the rest of our family all woke up in pain the next days. The basement daybed was by far the worst, sunk right in when you sat down so that was most definitely unusable. Water heater was about 2 showers back to back and ran into cold water for anyone after that. Trash has to actually go with you, not just down the stairs. My fault for not reading the info better but we paid the maids to dispose of it for us. Other than some quirks, the place was great!

We really enjoyed the sound of the water from the beautiful back decks along with the cozy fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped with a lot of counter space for food prep. It was also very quiet in the area. Aaron responded quickly to any questions or concerns.

Kohl's Ranch Cabin

This was a great property with an awesome upper deck and lower patio. Access to the creek was a blast for the Grandkids. Everything we needed was provided and the cabin was big enough for 6 adults and two kids.

Great Cabin Experience

This cabin really is amazing! Everything from the back patio furniture, to the kitchen and its equipment, to the game room is new or very well maintained and very clean. The owners were responsive but we didn't need anything during our stay- it was apparent that they work very hard to make sure their cabin is well-stocked and that their guests have everything they need. The neighborhood and creek are pleasant and quiet. We also really enjoyed the charming restaurant/bar in the main lobby of the nearby (15-minute walk down the road) Kohl's Ranch Lodge- great food and really nice staff.

Family get away

Cabin on Tonya Creek has been a perfect place for our family to visit each year. (8 adults, 4 kids) We spent a lot of time outdoors hiking, fishing, visiting a near by lake for a day, touring a fish hatchery, playing by the creek. The cabin had plenty of room for all of us and is very comfortable. The deck is our favorite morning and evening hang out. We are already looking forward to another visit.

Annual Reunion of old friends

Beautiful location on creek

This is a lovely house in Kohl's Ranch with plenty of space for a large group. We enjoyed the deck, watching the birds and afternoon storms roll in. The creek flows just below the property. We spent time at Woods Canyon Lake which is approx 20 min north of the area. The house is located in a neighborhood with a dirt road which causes dust and upsets the area residents if you don't drive extremely slow. The beds could be better and you must haul away all of your own trash otherwise I would definitely give this location all 5 stars. It's still worth a visit and is a beautiful area!

Relaxing!

We have been staying at this cabin for several years and we always have a wonderful time. This year we saw about 10 elk in the forest behind the house. It’s comfortable, well maintained and has beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful Getaway

We enjoyed a family/friends getaway for a couple of days after Easter and the cabin was perfect! The property is very family-friendly and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We loved the deck and fire table and the yard/fire pit/patio was a wonderful area to hangout together. The check-in/check-out rules were easy to follow and the extra parking down near Kohls Ranch Lodge was a convenient place for a couple extra cars to park. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked and there were tons of extra blankets/linens for people to use. The hosts really have thought of everything for a great getaway. My friend liked it so much that she will be booking it for her family in the future too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing cabin

Beautiful location in Kohl’s Ranch. House was amazing for a large family. Plenty of room for 11 people. Lots of things for the kiddos to keep busy. Kitchen had everything you need . The Master bedroom had a very comfortable bed.
