Come relax in our one bedroom, 4 bed retreat. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sun with a view of all our beautiful palms. Fully self contained with a well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals. A big outdoor bbq with table and chairs is supplied so you can enjoy the long summer evenings. Only a 3 minute drive to the harbour entrance and a 10minute drive to the famous 90 mile beach. With plenty of parking for a boat and the boat ramp only a five minute drive away it is perfect for all the keen fishermen.

Home away from home

Michaela's Tropical Retreat

Michaela's bach fit our needs perfectly. She provides all the comforts, is easy to communicate with and the property is beautiful. It is an ideal location for excursions to Cape Reinga, 90 Mile Beach, Giant Sand Dunes and Honey Bee's!

A week fishing

Beautiful area. So relaxing. After a day at the beach it was nice to come home and relax in the bbq area or on a lazy boy inside. Good size fridge/freezer and kitchen. Comfortable beds. And great pressure in the shower. We will be back.

Peaceful stay

This is a must recommend place to stay. Not too far away from Cape Reinga and very close to ninety miles beach. We arrived 2 hours early because the weather condition, but the manager was very kind, she let us check in before set time and the batch has everything you need and around with the beautiful garden. Will be back next time.

Quiet, cool and convenient

We stayed for a week, the cottage is set well back from the road, so was quiet. Is near the harbour for a swim or boating. I am disabled and use a walking stick to mobilise. Was ideal as compact and bathroom easy to use. The kitchen has everything you need. Temperatures were high, but the cottage remained cool ,with an outside dining area and insect nets on windows meant we could keep windows open. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
