Lakefront Getaway with Kayak, Canoe, Boat and dock.
We have added a new heatpump for the late Fall and early Spring. Of course we are open for the summer months as well.
The Private Waterfront area is 250' with a 35 foot dock. The Lake tends to stay warm for a Maine Lake and drops off slowly. It is about 6 to 10 feet deep at the end of the dock. Plenty of Swimming and Outdoor Activities are available. There is a boat landing at the bridge about 1 1/2 miles up from the camp if you have your own boat. Otherwise, a boat or canoe is provided for your enjoyment. New for Summer of 2019, new kayak, regular electric line (Solar will be there for backup only. No more monitoring electric meter). New Refrigerator. Camp is open from June 15th to October 30th every year. Smoking is not allowed; if you or your guests smoke inside, you will be billed for the damages.

What a lovely property and place! We loved all the outdoor things provided (fishing supplies, kayaks, canoe, boat). My 6 year old caught his first fish in the boat and with a provided pole! We enjoyed our experience immensely. Charles was a wonderful host and very responsive. Be informed there’s no washer and dryer on site despite being listed more than once in amenities. That was the only downside.
Loved the cabin. Was disappointed with the state of the furniture by the lake and the outside picnic table. It just needs to be updated. We greatly enjoyed having the beautiful lake to ourselves and enjoyed the quiet setting.

Appreciate your comments and we will work on some changes to the wooden chair down near the Lake as well as a couple of the Adirondack Chairs.
The sheer beauty of this very remote and private spot is unbelievable. We spent all of our time by, in, and on the water and we were thrilled with the available kayaks, canoes, boats and dock access. The beautiful weather had us wanting to keep the screen door open to the deck but it was very difficult to wrangle (broken) and the dock needed some safety updates (holes in the boards/weak boards). Also, we thought the listing offered washer/dryer access but no machines were on site. The space was very clean and well appointed, otherwise. Of note, water is not visible from the house which we didn't mind since we were waterside during daylight hours, but not sure if that is helpful to next guests. Owner was excellent and efficient with communication

A beautiful Wilderness Experience: Plenty of Fishing, and Hiking up to Devils Head Overlooking the Mainstream Pond and Great Moose Lake. Also, there is hiking around the 90 acres surrounding the Camp. Canoe & Kayak Upstream 30 Miles on Sebasticook River, Maine or downstream It is very quiet here and the fishing is excellent. Harmony is 5 minutes away so you are close enough to Harmony but have privacy as well
