Blake’s cabin was an amazing place! Check in was easy and it was just what my family needed on our travels. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make a good breakfast. Appreciated the use of the charcoal grill with a propane option as well. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Perhaps we will get to do that on the next trip. I could lay on that dock observing wildlife for days!
This house was the perfect size to get away for the weekend with my partner, and offered wonderful water views and sounds of wildlife. We found it to be very relaxing and the house was wonderfully stocked.
We chose Blake’s Cabin for a “Sisters Weekend” - just us girls and the dog - and I’m not sure who had a better time, us or the dog. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable. It’s equipped with literally everything you could need and more. Very clean! We loved the lake! We saw the sweet loon family and got to hear their calls. The neighbors chickens visited one afternoon and we shared our salad with them. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and the grills were great for cooking out. Patsy was very sweet and answered any questions we had and the binder of information was very helpful. The yard and docks were in great condition. We spent most of our time outside. We look forward to coming back next summer!!
Fantastic communication & Friendly neighbors- Great place to bring your pet!!

Nice cottage but some real problems
Inside, there was no light at the bottom of the very steep, shallow tread stairs so you had to go up in the dark. It was hazardous to try to carry a bag up and down, let alone be sure you didn't fall.
Outside, there was a large dumpster overflowing with trash and garbage that may have been the cause of polluted water by the shore of the lake.
The drive was so steep we scraped the bottom of the car and parked at the top, along the road after the first time.
So I booked for Friday and Saturday, to do a little ice fishing with the girlfriend and the doggie.
A winter storm was rolling in, so I decided to head up a night early. Patsy the host was quick to response, and very accommodating to our needs. We were able to rent an extra night, and we were very glad we did! My girlfriend loved the cuteness of the cottage, “ they have everything we need” she said. The weekend was great , with the house being on Morril pond , and only a 19 minute ride to great moose lake. I am eager to get back for another visit!
