About this property

This is the perfect spot for your family gatherings or group of friends to enjoy all the North Shore and Lutsen Mountains has to offer! You get access to 2 large end-unit townhomes, both with large wraparound decks and just a 30-second walk in between them. You will love to wake up to the mountain view and take advantage of ski-in/ski-out access. Lots of light comes into your cozy but tech-friendly home away from homes with stone fireplaces (gas for convenience) and ample room for you and all your family and/or friends! Plus you have your own private sauna, washer/dryer and room for everyone to have a blast! You get Resort amenities which are just a quick walk for the hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool, bar and restaurant and firepits with chopped wood and smores awaiting you! Adventures and memories await!

Note: Free High-Speed Internet service is available throughout the resort, no access code needed (but you do have to accept the “terms and conditions” to log on). *Being a large resort and so far up north, it is not always a great connection.

The resort wants us to tell you that you do NOT have access to the “Resort-Planned Activities/Events” and the shuttle, but luckily this is a ski-in/ski-out vacation home!

Our local staff is pleased to tend to your housekeeping/maintenance needs and provide you with fresh linens/towels if you need additional. So please do NOT go to the Resort Front Desk. Upon booking you will receive the pertinent contact info for any needs. Thank you!

Peaceful and Quiet Area

Two townhome accommodations and set-up worked very well for our family hiking trip! Comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice view of the forest and hills. Townhome layouts were great, but there are steps if that is a concern. The parents and children in our group enjoyed the Lutsen pool and hot tub - within walking distance, or a quick drive. Great location - short drive to many hiking trails, scenic areas, and Grand Marais. Manager was very responsive, and any concerns we communicated were addressed same day.

A Great Getaway

With how crazy everything is at campgrounds right now, you can about imagine how thankful our group was to find a VRBO that could handle a larger group size. What we adjusted to: The units were smaller than we expected, but we were able to fit and do what we wanted to do. We also would have liked to have more yard space at the units, but having access to a pool, hot tub, a fire pit, and other yard games made up for that in spades. The A/C was broke and made for a pretty uncomfortable night since it wasn't able to be fixed until the day after we checked in, but (thankfully) the weather cooled off enough to the point where we didn't need it all the time. What we really liked: Being centrally located on the North Shore was great for our group as well, allowing us to explore up and down Hwy 61. We also appreciated having extra showers for people to utilize as needed. From our perspective, this VRBO was worth what we paid. Would definitely recommend and will certainly consider booking here again.

Good stay

This is a good place to stay for skiing, however the ski in/out is much more difficult than advertised and definitely not accessible for kids or less experienced skiers. Additionally the pool hours were greatly limited due to Covid-19 measures which wasn't stated prior either so I would check that as well as the pool area was never open outside of skiing hours which was not optimal.
