Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great place to hang out within a few steps of Lake Superior, ultra-convenient for summertime hikes along and above the lake and for winter activities at Lutsen Mountain. Our host was easy to reach with questions and updates, and the arrival/departure processes a snap. Highly recommended!

We loved this property! Me and two of my friends went up to the area for a 3 night stay over Memorial weekend. The place was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. I stayed in the master bedroom, very comfortable. My friends each had their own room upstairs. It was in a great location, close to Oberg Mountain and Cascade River Park. Beautiful views of the lake from the living room and master bedroom. I will definitely be booking here again!

Our stay at The Lutsen Lakehouse was great. This home provides a spectacular view of Lake Superior from the living room. The house plan is open, light-filled and very comfortable. It really gives the sense of being in nature in a private setting. The kitchen is also an open design, large and nicely appointed for cooking and hanging out with travel partners. The master bedroom is spacious with its own view of the lake and private bathroom. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a smaller powderroom bathroom upstairs and access a shower in the downstairs bathroom.The ledge rock shoreline provides endless spots to sit and enjoy the sound of the water, some days crashing waves and other days gentle lapping at the shoreline.The homeowner was very communicative and helpful regarding check-in procedures and indicated availability for contact if we had any questions or needed sightseeing suggestions. We always appreciate that.It was a great North Shore vacation spot.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Lutsen Lakehouse. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline, waking to dynamic sunrises, and of course all of the joy of being at the waterfront. The house was amazing and held everything we needed for a weeklong stay.
