This property well accommodated our family of 6 adults, a 22 month old and a 2 month old. Everything we needed was considered including a well stocked kitchen with all supplies necessary for cooking meals (including spices etc). The access to the beach was super fun and the crow’s nest made for wonderful morning coffee times and nighttime storm watching.

This home is stupendous! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with many cozy spots for reading, appreciating the lake, and just hanging out. The bedrooms are spacious, and we slept well lulled by the sound of Lake Superior. You can cold plunge in the lake or just skip stones and lounge by the water. I think we will most miss the third floor seating area with a spectacular view of the lake. And it is in such a good location, near Lutsen and with just a short drive to Grand Marais. This is our second stay here and we hope to stay again! Highly recommend!

This is an extraordinary home! It has beautiful views of the lake and wonderful spaces for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful setting. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. We loved the location - convenient to Lutsen/Tofte and Grand Marais - not to mention the direct access to Lake Superior! We would love to stay here again!

Great Family Place

Beautiful home and great location

The home was beautiful, great views of the lake, had plenty of space and was well-furnished. We stayed for the weekend to ski Lutsen and it was very close to the mountain and not far from Grand Marais. We will plan to stay again!

An absolute gem, from the beginning of our stay until the end. Very clean, fun winding staircase up to the 3rd floor cupola where we had great family discussions. Had a camp fire, swam off of the private beach, skipped rocks, played games, hiked, and enjoyed visiting Grand Marais.

Property was spacious, clean, great amenities and views, also had great areas for kids to explore, (loft areas)”. Lake shore was fantastic, however it should be noted that it’s a little bit of a hike downhill, which was hard for our older friends. My wife and I most definitely would recommend and plan on going again.

Another great stay

This was our second time staying at Grey Havens and it was just as wonderful this time around! We love the location for getting out and exploring the North Shore. Beautiful cabin and plenty of room for 2 families with kids. The crow's nest was a hit in the morning with the kids and adults alike!
