Place was just as described online and in pictures. Great communication from host with directions on exactly how to find the place. Good location for everything in Tokyo. Felt safe.
Excellent communication from host, clean and comfortable. Many restaurants, shops and street food very close, yet quiet at apartment. It would be nice if there was a common sitting area but photos are accurate.
Our host was super punctual about responding to questions and he was also very accommodating. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the metro, 15 mins to Shinjuko and in it was in the heart of a very lively Little Korea. So much delicious food!
We would definitely stay again,
Michael
Our family of four stayed here for an exciting trip centered around my husband running the marathon. A tad cramped with our adult children but overall we were comfortable and could head out for adventures in Tokyo from this convenient location.
Small but Easy to get to with several nearby train stations. This is in the Korean section and there were so many great options for food and entertainment with many local cafes as well. A seven eleven is at the end of the street, just a short walk away. It's a walkup, we were on the third floor but not bad. Washer available with a balcony to hang your clothes. Do recommend.
This set up worked out great for us. We loved that our 18 year old had her own room without the expense of a separate hotel room. Alex our host was great! The apartment is 8 minutes from 3 different subway/JR lines so it’s not super close to transportation but it’s also walking distance from Golden Gai and right across the street from a popular pancake spot. We went twice!
It was a nice and clean two bedroom apartment Hostess (Angela) was very nice to talk with very responsive to all our questions we had about the property location Overall we did have good timeThank you
We enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is on the third floor, but once you get there, it’s all one level and roomier than the pictures show. As other reviewers have noted, it can be noisy at night, although the noise only punctuated the night one or two times and did not last long. We would stay there again. The things I liked were:- Convenient location - valet with 14 wooden hangers- Tea kettle (electric)- Enough kitchenware for 3 people (we didn’t do any cooking - just breakfast and takeout)- we didn’t use the washing machine, but I noted a there was a drying area on balcony- Full length mirror - 4 chairs at breakfast table- large rooms by Japanese standards- immediate, helpful response to my question about the garbage disposal. There isn’t a garbage disposal, but, instead, a replaceable filter over the drain ( I like that a lot and wish we had that in all our drains at home!)
It was a bit difficult to find the apartment and it was cold inside when we arrived. The apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. All was nice and clean.
The bedrooms were the largest rooms in the apartment. Great location, in the Korean part of Shinjuku with lots of restaurants & convenience stores close by. The inside smaller bedroom was nice and quiet since it didn’t have any windows. The larger bedroom with windows tend to be noisy due to late night people passing by, so may need ear plugs. We had a great visit in Tokyo and would definitely stay here again!
Finding this address can be difficult because Google maps is a bit off in Japan. There’s a cafe across the street so ask the host for that cafe to easily get directions.
The listing is as it looks. It was perfect for 4 adults staying for 4 nights. There’s a don quijote, plenty of Korean food and shops (you’re in ktown!), and it’s close to the shin-Okubo station on the Yamanote line which brings you anywhere you need to go in Tokyo.
The check in process was easy thanks to Alex’s quick communication. He was flexible with luggage storage, which was so helpful for us.
