Whether you're looking for seaside activities, long walks on the beach, Footbrige Beach has been voted one of Maine's best beaches, a place to relax by the adult-only pool or hot tub or splash around with the kids at one of the family pools, this ideal location offers you plenty of options. Additionally, local restaurants and shops are nearby. Both Ogunquit and Wells offer great shopping, dining and entertaining to make your stay even more enjoyable.

As you step through the front door, the sun room/living area welcomes you in a sunny relaxing space with plenty of seating, a new plush sofa from Crate and Barrel, a large flat screen smart TV. At night, settle comfortably after a day of activities, while the relaxing decor sets the stage for laughter-filled evenings of board games and family movie nights. If you prefer, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the gentle hum of the fountain located across the street when the sunroom windows are open.

The large dining area sits 6 people and the kitchen is well appointed and includes extra cooking tools such as: lobster pot and seafood tools for 6, Keurig Elite coffee maker, drip coffee maker, blender, sharp knives, wines glasses, bakeware set and more, thus making meals preparation easy.
When it's time to rest, the bedrooms are adorned with cheerful beach decor creating cozy retreats for parents and little ones alike.
The main bedroom features a queen size bed with a new mattress set that was replaced in 2024, blackout curtains, and has plenty of storage.
The second bedroom is large (8' x 16') and can accommodate comfortably 3 or 4 children's (or older guests) with its super sturdy bunk bed (queen over queen). Blackout curtains provide restful sleep. All mattresses, pillows, mattress and pillow covers, quilts and extra blankets were replaced in 2025.
The cottage has a brand new A/C (2025) and each bedroom has a ceiling fan. The sun room and the dining area also have ceiling fans for extra comfort.
It has a laminate floor in the living room, sun room, and both bedrooms for easy cleaning. The bathroom and kitchen floors are tiled. It has Corian countertops in the kitchen. Appliances (washer|dryer combo, stove, counter depth fridge and microwave) were replaced in 2023.
There are 2 beach umbrellas, 6 beach towels and 6 beach chairs available for renters. A 51 000 btu BBQ gas grill is available.

The cottage has a stock of board games and books and has high speed internet connexion (WIFI).

The cottage has a fenced area at the back so you may store your bike if you wish to bike to the beach. Please bring your lock.

The beaches are a short drive away. Wells Beach, North Beach, Footbridge Beach and Ogunquit Beach are among the best beaches in Southern Maine. You may even ride your bike to the beach (10 minutes ride to get to North Beach.)

About Summer Village Resort. Our cottage is ideally located at the front of the resort. Take a couple of strides and dip into the family pool or play a game of pickle ball. Walk 25 steps and enjoy a quiet moment at the adult-only pool and hot tub.
You may also easily walk past the Barn (main building) were the 24 hour gym and a game room are located. Other amenities include a 3rd pool, a playground; pickleball and tennis courts, basketball and bocce courts; a dedicated trolley to take you around the property to all of the amenities.
Our cottage underwent major renovations in 2020-2021 and we keep on improving it so it is impeccable.

Please Note: Linens and towels are not provided with this rental which is why it is checked off that they are not cleaned in between rentals. You must bring your own. There is also the option of renting them. The cottage is always professional cleaned before you arrive.

IMPORTANT : If you own an electric or hybrid car, please note that plugin your car for charging it is not allowed at Summer Village . Charging stations are available nearby in Wells and Ogunquit.
