Spacious and clean place, loved game room, backyard next to water. Everyone’s enjoyed.Just a feedback As there is no AC, installing ceiling fans in the bedrooms would been better other than that it’s Awesome place
Such a lovely spot that we return to year after year.
There is more than ample space and ammenities for our two families. We love the relaxed vibe and beautiful views of the water.
The owners are always so accomodating and friendly.
We loved the beauty and discoveries we made in this quiet South Coast beachside town.
Tranquility, relaxation and comfort is Silverwaters Currarong.
We were 3 families with kids spending Christmas at Silver Waters. It’s a beautiful waterfront property with all amenities. Ample games for the kids and the pool table kept the adults occupied. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable 3-night stay. Thanks to the Marsh family for hosting us.
Regards

Great location, very close to the beach
We had a great stay, the location is excellent. The property was clean, the top floor is much better, sunny and cheerful. The rooms downstairs are a little stuffy and musty as there is not enough light particularly the inside ones. The kitchen was well stocked with heaps of cutlery, the oven though made lots of noise when switched on and when it cooled down, and we didn't use it the second night because of the noise. The bathroom downstairs didn't have any soap/shower gel. There were also quite a few spiders inside the house and in the beds in the kids room.

Hi Sangeeta, thank you for your review and advising us of items we need to look at, especially the oven making a noise during its cool down phase. I will check with the cleaning team as to why there wasn't soap in the downstairs bathroom. With regards to the Spiders, due to the location and current weather patterns they can be more tricky to get to leave! The house is pest controlled twice a year however we will make mention to our service man to double check again. We hope to see you and your family again as you were lovely guests and our check out team praised the property after your departure!
Silver Waters was the ideal venue for our large family group meeting up for a post Christmas celebration. The house itself is extremely comfortable, with spacious bedrooms for all ages, a really well equipped kitchen, a number of eating areas, including a covered area down by the water, as well as a games room. We spent a lot of time on the covered verandah, and the pool table and ping pong table were very popular. The location of the property was excellent. It backs onto Currarong Creek which made it just right for launching our two kayaks, and was a 5 minute walk from a a great swimming spot in the saltwater estuary. We did some lovely walks in Abraham's Bosom Reserve. From the house it's a short walk to Beach Safari, where they serve up the best fish and chips, as well as providing basic groceries. Currarong itself is a delightful village, with a lovely surf beach. We would certainly go back when the opportunity arises and would recommend Sliver Waters as a great spot to bring all the family.

Room for everyone in great location on the creek at Currarong
Silver Waters was an excellent base for our extended family to stay in Currarong. There was ample space for 11 of us, with lots of separate living areas and a great games room.
The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, appliances, pots and pans. I would note there were no pantry staples, tea, coffee, foil, cling wrap etc.
The host communication was excellent and problems with the nbn and replacement gas bottle were dealt with swiftly.
On the down side, the property is showing its age and we were unable to use the main bathroom due to a leaking shower. The fridge in the main kitchen was also not working well.
The outdoor spaces were excellent for relaxing and the covered deck meant we were able to eat outside even in the windiest of weather.
I would recommend this property for big groups
Had the place booked for a weekend with friends. Great spot on the water , plenty of space, beds and things to do. The pool table could go with some new cues but otherwise the place ticked all the boxes . Had a great weekend.
Good communication with the property managers, very accommodating.
Thanks Marsh's for a great weekend .

Hi Nathan, thank you for your fantastic review it was a pleasure to host you and your guests! We were hoping the rain held out for you and not flooded out of Currarong :) We have since replaced the pool cues with new ones as suggested. Hope to see you again soon. The Marsh's
This is our second time back to this property as an extended family (10 year old up to 81 year old) - and we had a great time once again. Location is supurb and the property delivered for our enjoyment again.
Was a pretty hot week so a few fans on the property would be nice - but once the sun starts setting we just retreated to the outdoor area alongside the creek with a few drinks and all was good with the world.
This is a great property that will easily fit 16 people for both living and sleeping. It’s situated in a lovely small and quite town. The owners have fast response time if you have any questions. Just an all round great place to stay.
Silverwaters is wonderfully located, cosy, homely, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect location for three couples and seven children to spend time together and connect exploring the pristine natural surrounds of Jervis Bay. Currarong is a hidden gem few people know about it and no more than half an hour from everything you need and want to do. We highly recommend it for your next getaway. The highlights for us are the quick stroll to the beach, fishing and the amazing walks to the Shipwreck and Mermaids Inlet. So much to see and discover.
All our group members really enjoyed a lot.
The property is well presented, lots of space, lots to do just in the property itself. Kids really enjoyed the games room. Enough heating to protect from cold.Everybody is happy to have this property for their holiday.
Black Wattle Archaeology staff recently rented Silver Waters as a base while completing work in the Shoalhaven area. The property was perfect to operate our services from with a beautiful home like accommodation for our staff during the working week and then be able to relax in a wonderful beach stay for the weekends! The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space while still being able to come together to enjoy each other's company.
The Marsh's are fantastic hosts with great communication during our stay and ensuring we had everything we needed during our month long rental. We would be more than happy to stay again from both a business perspective as everyone agreed it was the BEST base we have found in the south coast and then again as a family unwind and relaxing beachy home stay!
