In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 8, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This beautifully renovated first-floor Kiawah Island vacation rental offers three bedrooms and bathrooms, a gorgeous lagoon view, and a lovely screened porch. The villa is a short 5-minute walk to the nearest beach access.

This Turtle Cove villa boasts an elegant coastal design and received new furnishings and stunning upgrades in 2023. The light-filled living space offers a comfortable sofa, stylish swivel chairs, a flat-screen TV, a wet bar area, and access to the screened porch. Step into the newly renovated kitchen, and you will find modern white cabinetry, open shelving, stainless steel appliances, and an island with barstool seating. The adjacent dining area has seating for six and perfectly overlooks the lagoon.

The villa offers three comfortable bedrooms, all with renovated bathrooms. The serene primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with double sinks and a tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Rounding out the sleeping accommodations, the third bedroom offers two full beds, a flat-screen TV, and easy access to the hallway bathroom. The third bathroom has a shower/tub combo with vibrant subway tile.

Enjoy watching Kiawah Island's unique wildlife and feel the coastal breezes on the villa's screened porch. Overlooking the lagoon, the screened porch offers cozy seating and is the perfect area to relax and enjoy the view.

The villa is equipped with a washer and dryer and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

Overall the stay was great. Nice and clean condo with all the amenities we required. Close walk/ bike ride to the beach and close enough to the Sanctuart to walk for lunch. Would stay again!

Check in was easy. Kitchen was well equipped only thing was the dryer didn’t dry the clothes you had to run it three times to get your clothes dry. But I would definitely rent this place again

We were happy with the view, screened in porch, and updated bathrooms. The carpets in the bedrooms are disgusting and need to be replaced. Overall enjoyable stay.

Terrific time on Turtle Cove

My family of 6 (4 kids between 19 and 23) loved our time at 4821. We have gone to Kiawah every summer for 15 years and typically stay in Parkside. The usual rental with a dock on the lagoon has been sold so I reluctantly changed locations. Turns out I like this unit better. It is clean, well equipped and well situated. Easy walk or bike ride to the board walk and we all enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and looking for the alligators. We will definitely rebook this unit!

This is our second year staying at Turtle Cove Villas and we loved it. Close to everything and enjoyed the daily arade of the alligators. A short bicycle ride to the beach, short ride to the bicycle path, close to everything. We always include a ride down to the point to watch the dolphins feed. Fantastic experience. Every year we are finding new areas to experience. We are booking again for 2022.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: our rental condo was not as walkable to the beach as we’d like but was a nice bike ride. The condo needs to update the kitchen. The master bedroom did not have towel bars or hooks. If folks stay on the 1st floor, noise from renters upstairs was significant!

Unfortunately, design will not always be to each person's preference, and we do believe that is the case here. Additionally, we are sorry to hear of any noise issues during your stay. You are always more than welcome to contact the security gate if noise is excessive outside of allowed hours on the island. However, with the nature of renting a first floor villa, the noise level of the renters or tenants above cannot always be predicted and we are sorry that is seems to have impacted your stay.

Great location!

Nice property, in a great location on the island. Property management was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. We had wifi and cable issues for the majority of our week, but otherwise no challenges. Perfect spot to watch the fireworks, inside the screened porch!

We were extremely happy with this villa. It felt very clean and comfortable. Very well stocked with supplies such as laundry detergent, soaps, paper products. Close to beach. Perfect for our family of 5. Our older kids enjoyed having a tv in their room at night. We will try to stay there again next year :)

Nice little Villa

Overall our stay was very pleasant. The unit is in a very convenient central spot on the island. Close to golf (which is pretty much true anywhere on Kiawah), very close to Tennis, the Sanctuary, and convenient beach access not far away. Also, tons of great walking/biking paths near the unit. The unit itself was in good shape, and property management was quick to replace a battery in the beeping smoke detector - happy with the service/quick response even for something minor. It has recently renovated bathrooms, which are nice. Kitchen was large enough to cook a full meal comfortably, and was well stocked with utensils. The back deck looks over a nice little pond with plenty of birds and wildlife to watch. Overall, it was a great little place for 4 adults and 1 infant.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our vacation on Kiawah, but would not stay in this home again unless the carpets in all 3 bedrooms are replaced. The carpets were dirty with permanent stains and worn out. I would describe them as disgusting. However, the rest of the Villa was nice and had all of the necessities. For the price paid, my expectations were much higher from Akers, and we were disappointed with the condition of the Villa. Looked more like a fraternity house.

The weather was amazing, the covered patio overlooking the lagoon was peaceful and relaxing. Will always have great memories of biking to and on the beach with my family. My only suggestion for the rental property would be to allow guests to use the kitchen pantry (it was locked). For those venturing into Charleston, please be aware of the mask mandate. We wore our masks all week, but when we took them off to get a family picture at Waterfront Park, we were hit with a $100 citation - no warning. Ironic that the city would have a pineapple fountain in the park (symbolizing "welcome") and then hit visitors with citations like this. This was the only negative in an otherwise wonderful vacation.

The property was lovely, with lots of amenities provided (plenty of towels, enough dishwasher detergent/toilet paper/paper towels etc. to last us through the week, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap etc.) The nearest board walk is about 0.25 miles away so take advantage of the vacation gear rental that comes with the property (we rented bikes, two beach chairs and an umbrella and it was a convenient, easy-to-use service). Kiawah Island is very low-key and safety-conscious (mask ordinance, limited entry to grocery stores) and even on the weekend, there was plenty of room to social-distance on the beach. The only tiny issue we had was that a non-stick pan or two would have been nice (we spent a lot of time scrubbing the provided steel-clad ones). But everything else was perfect.
