Great location. Cozy. Coffee filters were needed. And there were no amenities for bathing, such as towels and washclothes, or shampoo, body wash. Other than those two small things, an overall great stay.
The condo was in good shape, clean, felt nice with comfortable furniture. Location is very nice in a nice neighborhood. Parking is on the street, but we didn't have any issues with it.
Overall would totally stay there again.
My mom and I stayed here for a concert at arrowhead and it was perfect! Quick drive to arrowhead and so many things nearby within walking distance. Building was secure and area felt safe. Highly recommend staying here!!
Had a great weekend in Kansas City at this location. It is close to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and a 10-minute walk to the Country Club Plaza and all it has to offer. Clean, comfortable place to stay. Would definitely stay here in the future.
We loved our stay! It was such a great location within walking distance of the plaza. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive & kind. Would recommend for your next stay in KC!
Quick getaway to catch a concert at the Starlight Theater. It was a quick Uber ride to the theater. Everything was great and it was a perfect setup for the two of us.
It would have been nice to know that there is no reserved parking for the unit, but we found a spot across the street easily. The unit was very neat and up-to-date. We will stay here again.
Overall good experience. Appropriately priced. Host was very friendly and communicative. I was able to check in early which was nice. I found the off street parking a little frustrating as I had to park all the way down the street at one point and walk with all of my stuff. The apartment was very cute and clean! You do need 3 different codes between the front door and the door to the condo so that made me feel safe as a single woman traveling alone. My only real complaint is that it is LOUD so not the place for you if you're a light sleeper lol. The noise from the road is a lot and the hallway is very loud, every time the elevator opened/closed or someone closes their apartment door, it made me jump. Maybe that's just me!
We stayed for two days over the holidays. The location was great, walking distance to the plaza. Then directions to get in were easy and the owner quick and responsive. The space was a perfect size with lots of space to hang out. There was just enough in the kitchen for us to prepare a few meals. Only two requests for future…an extra blanket and some Kleenex! We will definitely stay here again.
The property was amazing and this was a perfect place to work from for a few days. Location was fantastic and we were even thinking next time we come back we would definitely like to stay here.Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding of the check out time on our part which was definitely our fault; however, the way the owner handled it was uncomfortable. We were 20 minutes past the check out time of 11 because we thought the check out time was noon. The owner came in, and notified us that we need to leave which is completely understandable. We already had most of our things packed and the place was clean and in great condition. As we were getting our final things together, the owner barged in again and began yelling at us that we need to move faster and get out. We rushed out of there with all our belongings and the owner slammed the door without giving us a chance to review if we left anything behind.Again, property was amazing and was perfect for our reason for being in KC, just an unfortunate outcome with the owner.
Pros:
Snacks, coffee maker, towels, it was clean, bed and bedding were good, smart TV, big kitchen, nice couch, walking distance to shopping and food, washer/ dryer in unit.
Cons:
- Bathroom is very nice but had lightbulbs that were burnt out and it’s the only place where there was a mirror. This was a girls trip and getting ready for the night was difficult. I wish there was a full size mirror somewhere as well.
- We had a hard time finding the place and the owner didn’t respond when I reached out.
We enjoyed our stay in KC. This condo is located just across the street from the Nelson-Atkins Museum. It is also about 1/4 mile from the “Plaza”. Since it was winter, we didn’t walk anywhere, but when the weather is good, you can walk to a lot of places from this location. Parking is on the street, but we never had any issues finding a spot close to the building. The building is probably 80-100 years old. However, this condo is updated and fresh. As with any older building, the bathroom is small, but the renovated shower is spacious and nice. Bedroom is small but, again, it’s an older building. We were out on the town for most of our stay, so we did not utilize the kitchen, cook, etc. The only drawback was that I felt communication with the owner was inconsistent. I’m old school and I believe someone in the owners position should be very responsive. I didn’t like that we did not have the check in code until just a couple of hours before we arrived. Again, I’m old school. We paid our money to stay there, so why be so elusive about sharing the check in procedure. Overall, you’ll enjoy staying here. It’s quiet, and perfect for a couple. Safe travels.
