Located at the bottom of Northpoint this duplex will be your home away from home. Newly updated this home has all the modern amenities in the quiet area of Canaan Valley. New floors, updated kitchen and stunning natural light.







On the main level is an open concept living area. The kitchen is complete with stainless steal appliances, stone countertops and a breakfast bar. Relax on the sofa and enjoy the wood fireplace or watch a movie on the flat screen TV. Eat your meals or enjoy a game at the six seater dining area, head out the sliding door and relax on the back deck no matter the season.







Upstairs is three bedrooms, two with a queen in each and the master bedroom with a king bed and en suite.

Our stay at Bear Hug Inn was perfect! The property is lovely, with new, high-end appliances and a really comfortable living space. About 5 miles outside of Davis, its location is really convenient - you have the benefits of being close to town (grocery story, coffee shop, restaurants), but you get to enjoy the quiet and seclusion of being in the country. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy WV! I only interacted with your team when I checked in, but they were all lovely and very friendly. It was a great way to start the trip!

Family of four on a hiking holiday

The property was clean and in order. There was plenty of space for a family of four, and I would say 8 would be good too. The property had guest Roku's, which made it nice to log into Netflix and Disney plus for the kids. There were plenty of towels, hand and dish soap and some laundry detergent. There was a gas grill which was not listed that was nice and patio furniture. So what needs improvement is communication with the owner, as it would take a few days to hear back. There were many burnt out bulbs in the home. All of the remotes except for the living room had no batteries. Also, we specifically wanted a hot tub for our stay, but in our haste and not waiting on the owners response as we were booking close to travel, we found out after we reserved that it was broken.

Well appointed and functional kitchen; loved having the kitchen island seating area. And of course the hot tub, and the cabin provided beach towels....thank you since we forgot them! Also loved the fully stocked linen closet with plenty of towels...nice to have more than one per person and they were nice thick heavy quality towels too. Had a lovely time at your cabin, perfect for our group of 4 adults and two 14 year olds. Kitchen is perfect, thank you!! Boys loved the reclining sectional sofa. Didn't use the laundry facilities but nice to know we could have. Kitchen area was exceptionally clean, much appreciated. None. No interaction.

Family ski trip

We had a great time in Canaan Valley. The house was great. I only gave it four stars because the beds were very uncomfortable. I communicated this to the management company so hopefully they address it with the owners. It’s the only reason we would not book this rental again.
