Lakefront 7 Bedrooms! Private Dock Swim! Fish! Boat! Newly renovated

Recently renovated all new bathrooms new lakeroom living room!!! New wood burning fireplace coming fall 2024. Enjoy 4 seasons of beauty at our lake house, your private escape from the city. The lake house has a gorgeous big private yard with yard games and outdoor hot tub. You can swim right off the dock, fish, play games, make a bonfire or just sit and listen to the frogs.

Swinging Bridge Reservoir is a 9-mile motorboat lake that has a Bald Eagle Sanctuary with numerous coves to explore. Go out and discover what it has to offer in one our kayaks, stand up paddle boards or canoes.

The 7 bedroom and 6-bathroom (4 En-suite) house sleeps 14 in beds so there is room for everyone! New linens and towels throughout the house. Outside deck has room for BBQing (included) and dining while watching the boats go by. The kitchen, dining room and sunroom overlook the lake. Nice living room with big TV to enjoy on rainy days. Game room includes free play arcade games, pool table, karaoke machine and big screen with PS4 and is fun for everyone. We are on a dead-end road on the quiet end of the lake. Enjoy the tranquility of nature while being an easy drive to highways, attractions and restaurants. Strong Wi-Fi throughout the house and plenty of quiet spots so you can work straight from the lake.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please be sure that all garbage and recyclables are neatly bagged and placed in the trash bins
Please return all boats lifejackets, furniture games toys etc. back to their original places
Please be sure all windows are closed air conditioning or heat turned down and be sure that you retrieve all personal items there is a $25 shipping and handling fee included with any postal charge.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Parking rule after Dec 1st a limit of 4 cars and in icy conditions a chain will block lower drive cars stay road level and on house side of cones.

A great summer week at the lake!

The property was newly renovated and had a ton of space to accommodate our group. The interior remodel was beautiful and the bathrooms were brand new. The back yard and lake were great with all the life vests, kayaks, floats, fishing poles available as advertised. Thanks!

Beautiful place

Too bad we were only able to rent this for the weekend. Great view of the lake & surrounding forest. House was clean & had a lot of room for our 2 families. Host Craig was available throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the stay & would rent it again in the future.

This is the perfect house to rent for a getaway with friends

This is a great house to rent. Very clean and well taken care of. We all had our own bedroom with bathrooms a lot of fun playing pool singing karaoke and relaxing in the hot tub. Would recommend thi house for a family or friends vacation

Great Stay with Great Renovations!

Overall we had a great stay at the property. We were concerned that we received a message that the property was undergoing renovations before our trip, however they were all positive renovations! There was work being done that morning so we did find some dust, however I am positive that once these renovations are completed, this will be an incredible stay! The host was very responsible and answered questions quickly. The house was beautiful!

Great place for a weekend getaway!

The house is perfect for a group a friends -plenty of space and lots of things to do. We packed some of the household items you might need but the house had everything and more. Everything you need is close by so that was an added convenience.

Perfect family vacation

The house was the perfect winter getaway for our family! We all enjoyed the hot tub and the kids had a blast in the game room. We were a large group and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The property manager was attentive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Perfect lake spot

The property is on a nice quieter part of the lake. We were able to swim, boat, and fish right out the back door. The house was plenty big for our party of 10 and Craig was very helpful getting us checked in and helping us find a boat rental. If you want to relax and enjoy the lake you can’t do much better.

Awesome stay and even more awesome property

This property was so awesome, I can’t describe it in words. It had everything we needed and more! The property owners and manager were great! The home, view and amenities inside and outside were beyond our expectation. The lake and our easy access to it was the greatest part of the trip. Everyone in my group were happy and we all had life changing experiences! We thank Craig and Katie for their hospitality and we will DEFINITELY be back.

Wonderful Getaway

My family (7 adults, 4 children, 1 infant) had a great week at Swinging Bridge Reservoir! This was our 2nd time here and we loved it as much as last year. Property listing is accurate and Property Manager Craig was quick to respond. Weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy the lake every day, but there was plenty to do in the house as well (games, puzzles, pool table, etc). House is not fancy, but so much space for all of us. Highly recommend!

Plenty of space

The property was newly updated with all new (6 total!) bathrooms, furniture and linens. It was a great place for our mini family reunion with the long dining table, game room, hot tub, lake access with kayaks. Food stores/restaurants are a quick 15 minute ride. Check in was easy & Craig was very responsive to our needs. The only negative for light sleepers is that the walls are thin/you can hear footsteps or voices of housemates. Some fans & phones were used to fix that. But that’s it. It was private, comfortable, spacious, fantastic.

Older lake house needing some repairs. Incredibly steep driveway in poor repair but usable. Beautiful view of lake, nice dock , plenty of kayaks and other water play things. Perfect for large groups. Property manager very responsive. We had a great week!

Lakeside Family Retreat

Our stay at Swinging Bridge Lakefront Home was wonderful! The house was exactly as listed (even better actually): large (plenty of room for 11 of us), easy access to the lake (kayaks & floats), nice beds & linens, lots of fluffy bath towels, an assortment of games (board & arcade), good wi-fi. In short, a great place, not fancy, but just right for a relaxing family week. Property Manager, Craig, was on top of everything & responded to my nitpicky questions promptly, with patience & good humor. Highly recommend!

A great place to to spend a weekend away

We had a great time at the house. Almost everything you would need is already there. We did not take advantage of the water activities due to the weather but def will be back in summer months to do so. There was plenty of space to relax with a group or by yourself. The communication from the time we started the process till even after we left was phenomenal. We Will def recommend to all and def be back. TY Again

Getaway

We had a great time on our vacation- even with the hiccup of the refrigerator breaking. Craig the property manager was very responsive and handled the situation quickly. The owners credited us for our inconvenience. We all had such a relaxing time on the water and there was so much to do we didn't need to leave the property!
