Our 5-day minimum booking, Charlestown beach home is only a few miles from Charlestown Beach. It has a large yard, with an outdoor shower, lots of sunshine, cathedral ceilings, and huge windows, making this a bright and cheerful summer stay. The spacious decks include a sizeable roofed pergola, accommodating rainy days. We are conveniently located off of Route 1 and has easy access to fun Rhode Island activities. ONLY 2.2 miles to Charlestown Beach by bike! 10-15 minutes to Matunuck beach, Wakefield shopping, and Narragansett Beach, 15 minutes to Westerly Beaches and downtown.

Perfect location for a beach getaway!!

House was clean, updated, and had a perfect outdoor deck for cooking out. I’d definitely stay here again.

Relaxation in Charlestown

I first want to say how easy it was to work with Kat. She is very quick to respond. The expansive deck was so wonderful to sit on every morning and enjoy my coffee and a book on. The home was clean, easy to access, and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

We are a big family of six! We love living in Northern Flordia for the winters and enjoy our summer home in Charlestown for part of the summer. Kristina's family has vacationed in Charlestown RI since 1978 and her sister and husband own Cross Mills Creations on the other side of Route 1, the oceanside. William is a British actor and landlord in England and Kristina enjoys teaching English as a second language, creating personalized illustrative portraits, writing for The Stymied Optimist, and helping her husband manage their business.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property because it was centrally located, easy access to our family in Charlestown where I spent summers as a child in Green Hill, and close to three fantastic beaches, Blue Shutters, Charlestown, Westerly Beaches. We wanted a family home we could enjoy for part of the summer.

What makes this property unique

We do like the access to The Hungry Haven, Holy Cow Creamery, and shops nearby. If you are careful crossing Rt. 1 to the General Station Inn, you can easily bike to the Charlestown beach in less than 20 mins. This central location off of Rt. 1 makes it easy to either go to Narragansett or Westerly for dinner and activities. The most popular South Kingstown beaches are 5-15 mins. from our cottage. Charlestown Beach pass is included.
