We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Tennessee. This cabin was excellent and had many fun amenities for the kids (and us parents too). The views are amazing!

This property was amazing! Very clean and lots of extra touches from the owners! Great views of the mountains also. Our teenage kids loved the game room and theater room. We will definitely book this place again on our next trip to Gatlinburg!
We absolutely enjoyed staying here! This cabin was the perfect stay for my family of 7 that went! Kids enjoyed the game room and had so much! Loved in the swings on the deck to just look out at the mountains and enjoy the view!! The hosts were in constant communication and ensured we had everything we needed! I'd highly recommend staying here!
The house was great. Loved the layout, the view was amazing. Anthony was extremely helpful with any questions we had and provided a lot of information about the surrounding areas. The game room and movie theater kept the kids busy. Definitely recommend checking this one out.
An awesome experience had by all. View was best we've ever had!!! Kitchen, bathrooms and game room were well equipped. The large dining room table that sat 10 was wonderful!!! And the spacious kitchen was wonderful for three families to share preparing meals in!
The house was clean and had a nice view. Not far from central location for shopping and eating. Anthony & Whitney is very nice and very quick to respond if we needed anything. Will definitely book again.
Wonderful house, great linens and lovely views. Plenty of clean rooms and fun things to do. The swings on the porch are wonderful!
The only draw back was there were not enough things in the kitchen to use for serving food. Bowls, platters, etc… plenty of pots and pans but a small amount of serving pieces.
The kitchen is huge and the appliances are wonderful!
Such a fun place to stay!!!
We stayed here as a group of twelve. 6 adults and 6 kids. The house was clean and well prepared. All the necessities were already there and then some. The game room and the hot tub were nice for everyone from the kids to the adults. The theater room was also fantastic. Communication with the host was easy and fast. They were available the entire trip to help with questions. The website for the property was extremely useful. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Easy access to downtown. Will definitely stay here again!
Fantastic stay at "Up the Ante" cabin. We had a family of 9, with five being kids ages 9-17. Plenty of space for everyone and kids spent most of the time downstairs with games, movie room, and hot tub. Whole cabin was fantastic. Hosts provided adequate supply of everything!
Pool is within walking distance, right down hill. Cabin is about five minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, 15-20 minutes from Pigeon Forge.
No issues during our entire stay. Hosts responded immediately to any questions.
1. Had dead lady bug on bed and roaches on floor upon check in.
2. Mold smell in one of the bedroom.
3. Owner did not give any supply, like toilet paper and paper towel.
4. Did not have enough towel, we have to ask for it with back and forth argument.
5 two of the lights in kitchen not working.
6. Owner sent me picture of damage that none of our family member saw or recognized. He might be renovating his house on travelers money, may be sending same pictures to every travelor to make money.
7.He controlled house temperature entire time, does not allowed us to control room temperature as we have a small kids with us. It was very inconvenient.
8. Overall very bad experience, will never rent house from this owner.

This was such a disappointing and frustrating situation. Although Paresh was new to VRBO (no reviews) and not communicative during the booking process (he stated he was ‘bored’ with our emails about our required rental agreement), we love hosting families so we gave him the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
The day after his arrival Paresh started to express dissatisfaction. He called us to let us know a lightbulb was out under the kitchen cabinets. We immediately engaged our handyman to replace the bulb. Later that day, Paresh felt he didn't have enough towels (but hadn't noticed the extras we provide below the sinks). In an effort to further delight him, we delivered more towels to him that same evening (there was no argument here as we were happy to do it). The following day, he felt he didn’t have enough toilet paper (12 rolls were provided for 4 days). After informing him that we would be happy to reimburse him for any additional toilet paper they picked up, he became irate and stopped communicating. It quickly became clear we couldn't do anything to satisfy him during his stay. Regarding the thermostat, he never asked any questions about how to operate our Ecobee thermostat (we have a very clear guide on how to operate this, so perhaps he missed this as well?). Our ecologically friendly thermostats do adjust temperatures when no one is in the home. They are fully adjustable for all guests during their stay as we wish everyone to be comfortable. As for ‘bugs’, he never mentioned any of this to us nor provided photo evidence because there were none.
Upon departure, our cleaning team walked into a bad situation. Paresh had:
Broken a locked (!) kitchen cabinet (owner’s items) in an effort to access what was inside
Broken the tent into the kid’s bunk room - it was found in literal wood pieces
Left unsanitary items (i.e used tissues and dirty masks) strewn about the 3 story home
When we sent the documented damages to Paresh with questions, he immediately became belligerent claiming he did not recognize any damages and would dispute the stay on his credit card. Despite doing our absolute best to provide this difficult guest a wonderful stay in a home we take great care of, we were saddened it ended with a review filled with outright, blatant lies.
We had a great stay at Up the Ante!! The owners make everything so streamlined having a detailed online guide to the cabin. The kids in our group loved the game room and movie room. We had plenty of space with 4 adults and 5 kids. If I had to give any constructive criticism it would be to maybe consider some dressers or drawers in the bedrooms. We loved the proximity to downtown Gatlinburg but still being able to have a beautiful Mountain View!
Great location, beautiful view. Would definitely come back

About the host
Hosted by Whitney Rallo
We’re a family-run business who discovered Gatlinburg the same way many of our guests do -by traveling here with our own kids.
What started as one trip turned into something more. We saw how special it felt to have everyone under one roof: kids playing, grandparents relaxing, and time together that doesn’t happen often enough.
We don’t just own this home, we manage it ourselves and stay closely involved in every detail. From how it’s set up to how we communicate, everything is designed to feel easy, comfortable, and well thought through.
We’re here if you need us, and we genuinely want your time here to feel like it was worth planning.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it solves a lot of the common stress points people run into when exploring the Smokies.
You’re just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and close to everything families come for (Dollywood, downtown), but without feeling in the middle of it all.
Just as important, the drive is easy and fully paved, with no steep or winding roads. If you’re traveling with kids, grandparents, or arriving after dark, that makes a bigger difference than most people expect.
It’s one of those rare spots where you get the spectacular views, the convenience, and a sense of fun and ease from the moment you pull in.
What makes this property unique
We call this home Up the Ante TN because we set out to create something that feels noticeably better than a typical cabin stay, not just in how it looks, but in how it lives.
It’s the combination of thoughtful design and real functionality: comfortable, well-laid-out spaces, quality linens, and details that hold up when you’re traveling with a full house.
There’s built-in entertainment for all ages, spaces to gather and spaces to step away, and a layout that actually works for multi-family trips.
Because we manage the home ourselves, we’re able to stay closely involved in the details and care that go into each stay...from how the home is set up to how we communicate with our guests.
It’s not about being over the top, it’s about everything feeling just right when you’re here.
