Located in the beautiful village of Moss Vale, Hideaway Cottage is full of country comfort and appeal with polished timber floors, high ceilings, eclectic décor and a sense of country calm.

Surrounded by beautiful country gardens, the cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas, open plan kitchen, dining area and 2 outdoor dining areas.

Bedrooms 1 & 2 have a large Queen size bed and beautiful French doors which open out onto the beautiful wisteria covered pergola area.

Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.

The open modern kitchen has plenty of storage, coffee machine, electric oven and gas cooktop. It’s open plan design will ensure you don't miss out on the banter while creating your meals from the fresh local goods and produce.

There is an open dining and family sitting room at the rear of the house with large doors that open out onto the tempting alfresco outdoor dining area. Perfect for a breakfast sitting or an afternoon of conversations and board games. If it is too cool outside, sink into the lounge and relax by the warmth of the wood fire while still enjoying the backyard view.

The lounge room and reading area offer a great place to watch tv along with a picture perfect view through the bay window onto the pretty highland country garden. The comfy sofa lounge also doubles up as a double bed when you have more than 6.

The enormous bathroom offers a beautiful deep bath and contemporary walk-in shower with rainfall showerhead, perfect for enjoying that getaway soak and complete relaxation.

Hideaway in Mossvale

Great location to be able to walk to most things. House a little tired in places but overall a great place for the whole family.Fly wires on all windows and doors would be helpful and lack of bbq was a shame.

A genuine country cottage just out of town

We had a lovely weekend at the cottage over a cold and rainy long weekend. Everything was as per the Stayz post, however, some minor constructive critiscisms: Needed more than one tea towel! Ours was used for drying washing up, moving hot pans and drying hands in the kitchen. So an oven glove would alao be good! A few boxes of tissues would also not go astray. Lovely time with a few small improvements.

The property is located in a quiet street with shops within short driving distance. The property is spacious, nice and cosy with plenty of light. The property manager is friendly and very responsive. I had a relaxing stay with my family.

Nice weekend away. A shame about the cleanliness.

Turned up to the property looked great. The bins where overflowing and rubbish all over the driveway. Had to shove it all back in the bin of what little space the there was. The house inside was lovely, very well styled. Went to have a shower after a big day and found hair all in the drain. Not what you want to see when trying to have a relaxing shower. Was unaware of the property being right next to the rail line. Great little place but needs work on little things. Will not stay again.

The cottage was gorgeous - stylishly designed, fresh and clean. Had everything we needed. We loved the fireplace, surplus heaters (it was cold!) and garden. Jonathan was also super helpful. We would definitely come back and stay again!!

Gorgeous cottage

Jonathan was an excellent host including when we left property in the house and he offered to return them via post. The house was very clean and the bathroom was gorgeous! Super close to moss vale and Bowral. The outside looked lovely but unfortunately we went on weekend they had huge rainfall and it rained all weekend! Would be gorgeous to have a bbq outside
