This home has been prominently featured in Highlife Magazine for its unique design, showcasing the best in luxury country living. Set on 2 acres, backing onto Mount Gibraltar National Park, you feel like you are in your own little sanctuary, surrounded by beautiful wildlife. The best part, you are only moments from town, the many restaurants, bars and vineyards, getting the best of both worlds. This is a true Southern Highlands gem that will not disappoint, check out our 5-star reviews!
We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!
As you open the front door of Highgate, you are greeted by stunning grand ceilings, a beautiful period fireplace and an extensively renovated living, dining and fully equipped chef’s kitchen.
There are two separate office spaces and great Wi-Fi, so why not come for a few extra days and work in a relaxed environment, skipping the weekend traffic?
There’s also a Media room, kids play area and tree top mezzanine to keep the kids (little and big!) fully entertained during your stay.
The house has heating and a beautiful log burner for the cooler months. Come and watch the beautiful colours of nature change and snuggle up by the fire with a feast of local delicacies and wine.
There are events all year round in Bowral and surrounds, so come and enjoy this luxurious retreat and experience why so many people have opted for the tree change in the Southern Highlands.

* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am
* No smoking
* No parties or events
* No pets allowed
ADDITIONAL RULES
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is SIX people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to THREE people. No more than a maximum of NINE people are allowed in the property at any given time.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.
*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.
*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.
THINGS TO KNOW
*This property is suitable for babies or children and we have a highchair and travel cot, however, we do not supply the linen. Please BYO. The travel cot is in the bedroom wardrobe for you to set up when needed.
* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
