The Area

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire 2-bedroom condo unit and its private wraparound balcony. Your stay also includes full access to the world-class amenities of the Silver Shells Beach Resort & Spa.



Resort Amenities Include:

Private Beach Access: 1,000 feet of private, deeded white-sand beach, accessible with a key fob provided at check-in.

Pools & Hot Tub: A massive 7,500 sq. ft. lagoon-style pool with a waterfall, an indoor/outdoor heated pool, dedicated kids' pools, and a shared community hot tub.

Fitness Club: Complimentary access to the onsite club which also includes basketball and tennis courts. 

On-Site Dining: The renowned Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is located within the resort for a world-class dining experience.



Please note: Beach chair/umbrella service, water sports, and poolside cabana rentals are available directly through the resort for an additional fee.

Great Condo!

This condo was exactly as described. The host was great at communicating. Check in couldn’t have been easier. There are several little things that really made this a great stay. Snacks, beach supplies, basic daily supplies, and quality toilet paper! Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

Beautiful Property!

This property is perfect! It is beautifully decorated and spotless. The check in process is very simple. Kyle answered all of my questions before arriving and ensured that we had everything we needed once we arrived. Pools and beach are a very short walk away and the location is central to everything in Destin. We had an awesome time!

First visit to Destin was memorable!

Having never been to Destin it was overwhelming trying to figure out which rental to stay at. This property was a last minute decision as we wanted beachfront with a good pool. Silver Shells did not disappoint! Check in process and communication was great. The unit was super clean and fully stocked with everything you need to cook, clean, and beach accessories to make the the stay even better. It would have been nice to have the fancier beach service everyday, but is not thru VRBO (beach chairs/unbrella/cart still proivded in the unit). Location can't be beat as well as you driving distance between Harborwalk and Baytowne. The family really enjoyed the pool, pickleball and private beach. I would reccomend walking over to Back Porch if you want to do a quick lunch as the bar attached to the property was pricey for what we ordered. Also one of the elevators was down or running slower than usual during the end of the stay. All in all, great stay and would definately rebook or reccomend to anyone!

Condo was perfect! Very clean and check in was a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed. The treat basket and coffee bar were a nice touch. Loved the resort. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Destin Retreats

The condo at Silver Shells was perfect. Its beautiful from top to bottom. The ceilings, the floors, the decor, the layout, the balcony but the thing that was most impressive was the cleanliness. I've never stayed in a rental property that was spotless...literally spotless!! The silver Shells property is immaculate, very safe and in a great location. Kyle was great to deal with. Great communication. We had a wonderful experience!!

Excellent stay, management and communications couldn't be better (Kyle was incredibly prompt and helpful in responding to any /all questions we had). Unit is lovely, very clean and comfortable with thoughtful extras like the coffee bar (especially appreciated), beach towels & chairs (also very appreciated), perfect amount of starter items so you don't have to rush out to the store right away. Lagoon pool and beach are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place! The property is very well kept and clean. The rooms are very spacious and we had six people staying there. There was clear and prompt communication from the owner and the entire experience was worth repeating.

Outstanding Stay

Our stay was amazing the location of the resort was perfect and came with private parking space located in the garage. Kyle the owner was very communicative and pleasure to chat with, his instructions of the checkin process were outstanding. The unit comes with Smart TVs 2 in bedroom one in living room, beach towels, beach chairs, beach mats, umbrella, and full-size iGloo ice chest with wheels, pool noodles, and boogie boards. The view is partial ocean view, but you still get plenty of ocean scenery. Board games were a plus as was the keurig and coffee bar. We felt welcomed from the very start with personal note and snack tray for our arrival. The most comfiest pullout sofa bed, however all beds were comfortable. The decor is modern contemporary and unit is perfectly cleaned. The white quartz-sand beaches are out of this world. Just an FYI the beach chair and umbrella place will tell you that the chairs and umbrella can’t be used on private beach, easy fix walk towards Henderson beach park it’s less crowded and sea turtles nest in the area. I would definitely rebook future trips.. the pictures online match the unit perfectly. Very spacious with many windows and large balcony.

Fantastic Vacation and Condo

Very impressed with the condo. Condo Was very clean and very welcoming decor. Appreciate all the extras including the various brands of coffee, the kitchen ware, the beach chairs and umbrella, the various tv channels etc.. Very comfortable furniture. We appreciated very much the parking garage spot. The property manager Kyle, was great. Always kept us informed and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The property exceeded our expectations and I would visit again without any hesitation. Thank you!!

Family girls trip

What a great trip. Kyle is great responding and staying in touch. He answered all our questions and was helpful with anything we needed. The condo was super clean and beautiful. We stayed for 5 days and cooked most meals and the kitchen had everything I needed to make all meals. I used ICart to have groceries delivered so never had to even leave. There are several local places to eat within walking distance, we ate at Ruth’s Chris on site and enjoyed. The beach is a short walk through the condo compound which is super family friendly. The sand is wonderfully white and soft. Water is warm and blue. The condo had chairs we took down to beach daily and saved on chair rental. We rented Umbrellas from the Silver Shells hut. The bathrooms in condo are spacious and clean. Showers have good pressure. All beds were comfortable. Tv got Netflix, Amazon & Hulu and wi-fi was plenty fast. My girls and I had a great time and would definitely come here again!

Lovely condo! Clean, comfortable and a great location!

Reservations - Owner was very quick to respond via email when we made reservations. I was most impressed that he sent us an email with a link for an app that had everything you need to know about the property from check-in to area restaurants. You could either download the app or it was available in a pdf that you could print. Arrival - On the day of your arrival the owner will email you the gate code and the access code to enter the condo. Truly no contact check in. A plus for those of us trying to limit contact with the amount of people we encounter. You do have to check in with security but that was a breeze. Once parked in the designated spot for the unit I was pleasantly surprised to see luggage carts parked by the elevators. Just one trip to unload luggage, beach supplies and groceries. Condo - Beautiful! The photos do not do it justice. I'm not sure if everything was new or just well taken care of from the furniture/appliances... Great balcony with access from both bedrooms and the living area. We spent one afternoon just reading and playing cards enjoying the balcony and fresh air with a view of the water. There were two of us, one in each bedroom and both thought the beds were comfortable, plenty of closet space. Both bathrooms had a huge shower and the master also a huge tub! The retreat has a coffee bar with a wide variety of coffee/tea, choice of sweeteners and flavored creamers even honey sticks for the tea. Loved this touch! Tried several different flavors. There is a small pool for only guests of the building and a larger one shared by all buildings... the beach is just beyond the big pool. Beach - White sand and blue water!! There was a little snack shack with limited hours. We ordered drinks and snacks one day (they deliver it right to your beach chair). The next day we made sangria and had cheese and crackers and brought it with us. They rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach, but I also saw people with their own so I'm assuming that's OK. We just rented on our beach days and they were really nice chairs LOL Destin Restaurants - Restaurants were re-opening, did enjoy going out for dinner, the city seems to be doing a good job on social distancing, wearing masks, keeping things clean and having hand sanitizer available. We ate all of our meals outside on patios, most overlooking the water. I never once felt uncomfortable. I give this property 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.
