NEW OCEANFRONT HOUSE WITH SPACIOUS DECK TO VIEW THE FABULOUS SUNRISE AND SUNSET

Newly refurbished three bedroom house (top to bottom) located in Chambers Point. A very quiet and scenic area of Roques Bluff down East Maine. This gorgeous house located on the shores of Tenney Cove. As you leave the house, you will find yourself on a deck that extends from one end of the house to other . The view of Tenney Cove and beyond are fabulous, beyond expectation!

The house consists of one bedroom on first floor and two bedrooms on second floor, double size bed and two twin beds. The downstairs bathroom consists of tub and shower. Lower level of the house has washer and dryer for the convenient of your stay.

This Tenney Cove house not only boasts the beautiful sunset and sunrise and the beautiful views but it’s down east proximity to Roques Bluff State Park just few miles away up the road . Machias Maine is located fifteen minutes away, approximately 1.5 hour from Ellsworth ,1.5 hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and 2 hours away from Bangor International Airport. The house is an hour away from Lubec and Campobello Island Canada.

Price includes bed linens, towels and fully stocked kitchen. Gas grill on deck and Picnic table. The furniture is older style bedroom that was from my mom, sorry if it's a little tight as far as furniture decorated. The house was off the rental market for two years because of a tennant that stayed leaving the house a mess, couldn't bring myself to rent it til now. James

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
200.00 cleaning fee per stay substantially higher fees if house is left extra dirty and extra time is needed for house cleaning.

Remote but lovely

This property had a wonderful setting with lots of privacy, nice cabin, could use a strainer and a few more larger bowls but think owners are just starting out as rental! Also be aware there is quite a large/steep hill coming in, all wheel drive is preferable! I would rent again with all that said!!

Stay away

Stay away. You are getting mice/rat infested house with old junk smelly furniture, horrible mattresses and mold. This is a disgrace. The location is wonderful, private, ocean front, however, this is not the house, this is a camp with some heating elements at best. It is not livable when temperatures outside are below 60F, heating is strange, it is blowing non stop as house has no insulation and basically the outside is being heated, no efficiency. The house is infested with mice and maybe rats. Not safe. Furniture is old smelly junk from trash. Mattresses cannot be used, my wife developed severe pain after one night there. We had to combine two mattresses to make so,e sort of sleeping better, has not helped much. House is missing microwave, tea pot, other basic stuff. Stay away from this house in cold weather, it is not designed to be lived in. The driveway to the house is good for SUV only. House smells inside, quite possible there is mold issue there. Plumbing has not been working, they had plumbing issues they have not fixed prior to renting the place out. We had to buy supplies, pots, etc as it has some cheap junk and not sufficient to have a meal. Such a disgrace, low class trashy business. Excellent location, but nothing else. Stay away. They also attempt to extract more money for some sort of extra cleaning, they charged a large cleaning fee upfront, they are not competent to run this rental. Stay away!!

Quiet Get-Away

My family and I spent 5 nights and enjoyed every sunset. The property is very quiet on a little inlet--we only saw 1 person in the neighborhood our entire stay. The house was quaint with a nice kitchen and bathroom. My 9-year-old loved playing in the muck during low tide and my husband and I loved taking our coffee on the deck. It was a nice stay.

Cute waterfront cottage in the woods

We had a lovely time in this cozy cottage. Wonderful deck to relax on and enjoy the breeze and fabulous Maine summer weather.
