Great place for a relaxing get away!
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for a place to unwind and step away from the fast pace of life. Lots of fun things to do within a 20 to 30 minute drive and the atmosphere at the cabin was relaxing.

Relaxing
We came to go to a notre dame game with friends. We had to travel a little bit, but the honey cabin was the relaxing place to end the day. I wish I had more time to enjoy the fire pit and to explore the area.

From the owner: "Thanks for your input or review on the honey house cabin. We do appreciate the comments that we receive from folks like you who stay in the cabin. We try to do our best to keep the house clean and are open to suggestions. Thanks again and Blessings to you."
We had such a lovely time at the Honey House Cabin! The hosts were so nice & friendly. The cabin has absolutely everything you need & more for a comfortable stay.
Clean and convenient. Great place to relax in the evening after a day filled visiting sites throughout the county. The screened in porch was a great spot to watch Amish buggies traveling up and down the road.
The experience was excellent from the initial comunicación with the owners all the way to the check out. Made us home banana nut bread as a welcome treat! I loved it!

Peaceful Retreat
The Honey House Cabin is a nice place to unwind from the day to day stresses. We spent a long weekend there, and it was so nice to go "home" after a day of exploring instead of a busy hotel. The banana bread waiting for you is an added bonus! If you have to connect to the outside world, they have internet, but do note there is not a television. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great hosts!

From the owner: “Thanks for sharing and staying with us in the cabin! It is always nice and appreciated when our guests leave the place clean. We are glad you enjoyed your visit with us at the cabin and you are welcome back anytime. Blessings to you.”
Much needed getaway to northern Indiana. Met at the door by owner Kenneth and his wife, who showed us the cabin and shared some of it's history. Place was very clean and filled with little extras (fireplace, little bottles of local raw honey, homemade banana bread, stocked with firewood, cornhole game, board games and books). Very peaceful setting with the town of Nappanee just a short drive away. Lots of good restaurants and interesting places to visit. Had a great time.

Girls weekend
This was our second time staying, and it was just as lovely as the first! There were several upgrades since our last visit, making it even more comfortable! We love the honeybee theme, and I was quite honored to see the thank you card I made and left for our hosts last time, framed and hanging on the wall! The banana bread that was awaiting us, was just as amazing as I remembered! (And the first thing I looked for…Haha)
Thank you so much! We will definitely return.

We loved our stay
My wife and I have come to this cabin as our technology-free-weekend-getaway twice. We loved our stay so much the first time that we made this our first trip with our newborn as a family. The location is on the same lot as the owners home, but is nicely tucked away and is very quite. It has all of the basic amenities including basic wifi. It notably does not have a TV which was perfect for our goals. We enjoyed spending time together and exploring the surrounding area.We highly recommend the Pumpkinvine Hiking Trail which stretches several towns and has several entry points close to the cabin. Abshire Park is a great entrance (it took time for us to find the closest entry points so I hope this helps).Numerous towns nearby with great restaurants. We loved the Dented Can market for some quick grocery and bakery runs. The cabin itself is nice, quite, clean, and warm. The owners are friendly and respond well and work to meet you when you arrive to help show you some quick tips of the cabin. We absolutely plan to return again.

Nice and comfy
What a great getaway this place is. Nestled in Amish country, very mellow and quiet. The house is very cozy and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay. I’m sure that it bothers some people but we were very happy to have no television for a few days…
Ken and Arlene made us feel much at home with their warm welcome to such a comfortable and clean place to stay. I was happy to hear they are considering adding Internet. That would be the only improvement I can think of.
We visited the nearby DeFries Gardens, which I would highly recommend!

Relaxing
Very nice cabin and well taken care of. We had a great time and we definitely will be back.
We did a lot of site seeing but was so nice to come back to the house to relax. So much better than staying in a hotel. Host was very nice and helpful.
This property was so relaxing! We had such a great time. It was nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend the weekend unplugged from social media! The zucchini bread was absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay here again!
We've stayed here twice and the second time was for my parents 50th anniversary and they loved it!
Our grill was out of gas and Kenny brought us a new tank right away.
Beautiful surroundings of country.
Very nice place . Host very friendly . Had left home made banana bread very delicious. Only thing I would have to like to have had was a tv but other than that it was great.
