​Comfort and affordability, not to mention prime beach location, are just a few of the reasons A Place at the Beach II should be your vacation destination. Located a couple of miles south of the Garden City Pier, this complex's amenities include a large swimming pool, elevator and laundry facilities. Delight the senses from unit 2H's second floor oceanfront balcony viewing sunrises, listening to waves and smelling the salty air! Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

A Place At The Beach II is located 2 miles south of the Garden City Pier in Georgetown County. This three-story oceanfront complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. For your convenience, this complex has an elevator and a coin-operated laundry onsite. There is also an outdoor pool (open Easter to November 1) and community grilling area. Motorcycles are allowed. Two parking permits are issued per condo unit. Sorry, recreational vehicles, trailers, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

This section of Garden City Beach was not as busy & very quiet, which we enjoyed. The furniture (sofa & chair) in our unit, were older and not very comfortable.

Overall had a good time. Location is very nice. Beach is wide open and not crowded. Great restaurants, stores etc. The condo is in need of TLC. Dirt and cob webs in the sliding screen door to the deck. Furniture on the deck needs replacment and less. Crowded. Carpet is old dingy and discolored. Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans etc. Some of the glasses were still with food residue. My disappointment was staff at the counter. They could care less ifwe were there or not. Placard on the counter to be nice. Turn it around so office staff can be reminded

Very close to everything. Lots of kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Very small kitchen. Adequate rooms. Very small master bath would not fit a large person.
