Perfect location for a relaxing vacation

Very nice accomodation like from a good book. The guesthost Didier and his wife Monique did all the right things to give support comfort and a nice stay. Definitly a suggestion if you’re looking for a nice and calm location to explore Normandy

Traumhaft schöne Unterkunft

Es war wie in einem Museum, aber man war mittendrin. Es war für alles gesorgt angefangen bei einer Kaffeemaschine bis hin zu Bademäntel. Die Gastgeber machen dies alles mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Diesen Gastgeber kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte mal da.

Großertiger Normandie-Urlaub

Ein toller und äußerst bemühter Gastgeber und großartiges Domizil. Das kann man gar nicht anders bezeichnen - mit einer idealen Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort in vollen Zügen genossen - äußerst empfehlenswert.

Didier is a wonderful host for his visitors. Correct, superfriendly and with a heart for his domain! The accomodation is just a 10/10, a very personal, astunishing interpretation of a typical Normandic cottage. Will cole back with the whole family

Fantastisch

Het huisje is een oude ciderbrouwerij behorend bij een landgoed en ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto’s. Bijzonder stijlvol ingericht. Op dit landgoed zijn nog een ander huis en een appartement te huur. De hamam/jacuzzi is voor gezamenlijk gebruik en is fantastisch mooi. Didier is een ontzettend vriendelijke en goede gastheer. Ik heb een geweldige tijd gehad. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt in de buurt. Het is erg rustig en stil gelegen in een mooie omgeving.

Fabulous small cottage in Normandy

I stayed in this old calvados/cider brewery which has been beautifully renovated and turned into a lovely cottage in Tordouet in the heart of the French countryside. The views out into the grounds are amazing - very light; was exceptionally clean and Didier was an amazing host and who spoke good English. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage had a full size bath (unusual for rental accommodation) with a small kitchen but everything in working order and all the kitchen utensils required. There is onsite parking for your car and to supermarkets in the local village a few kilometres away. This property has the advantage of a separate spa with hamman and hot tub all very tastefully created so you feel part of the countryside. It is very rare to find such a gem where the description matches the property so well. Very romantic/comfortable for a couple and possible for teenage children in second bedroom (but ladder up requires a teenager climb up the ladder). Highly recommended!

Wonderful Place wonderful Host

We stayed at the little cottage for a week and it was wonderful and peaceful! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and cosy! Unfortunately due to the bad weather the hot tub was out of action but this was not a problem and was communicated before we came, Didier was an absolutely outstanding host and we had an amazing time and would definitely come again hopefully with family to share the lovely experience again with them.

Un paradis terrestre

Wohin das Auge schweift, überall ist nur Schönes zu sehen! Im Haus und im Garten, der die Dimensionen einer großen Parkanlage hat, ist man umgeben von Schönheit und vielen liebevollen Details, die eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre zaubern. Zusätzlich wird man sehr, sehr freundlich empfangen! Man fühlt sich wie im Paradies - es fehlt an nichts! Que ce soit dans le gîte ou bien dans le gigantesque jardin avec les dimensions généreuses d’un parc, la beauté surgit de partout, car on est entouré par un grand nombre de détails charmants, qui font le merveilleux d’une atmosphère d’exception. De surcroît, on profite d’un accueil très amical et bienveillant. On se sent dans un paradis terrestre – rien ne manque !

Un endroit extraordinaire, en pleine nature! Un cadre idyllique avec un spa offrant tout le confort! Un gîte (pour nous La Bouillerie) décoré avec soin et beaucoup de goût! Une déconnexion du quotidien garanti! A 50 min des grandes villes (HONFLEUR, DEAUVILLE, TROUVILLE, VILLERS SUR MER). Des propriétaires exceptionnels offrant un parfait accueil, convivial et chaleureux! Amoureux de la nature, le pré des colombiers est fait pour vous!

Week-end à la campagne : calme, charme et confort

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans ce gite à la déco soignée, tout équipé et très confortable. Une parenthèse nature à 2h de Paris et 40 minutes des plages de Deauville et Trouville. Nous reviendrons !

A wonderfully magical place with amazing hosts!

We've just come back from this little piece of heaven and can honestly say it is one of the best holidays we've ever had. It is a truly magical place run by delightful hosts. We stayed in La Bouillerie which is a gorgeously romantic little cottage- the furnishings are lovely with do many hand finished touches everywhere you look. Views are stunning and you will enjoy the most wonderful peace and tranquility in a wonderful setting. The spa is a delight and Didier and Monique are superb hosts- both so knowledgeable about the local area with great tips about what to do in the region. Didier is a true craftsman and you see his wonderful touches throughout the properties. The nearby town of Orbec is super charming and has everything you need- lots of lovely artisan foods and wine and with wonderful local people to match. It's a wonderful place to visit any time of the year. We stayed for the period between Christmas and New Year but we're dying to return in the Spring and possibly summer as well! We'll be back for sure. You couldn't as for more from a holiday and I can't recommend this place highly enough. Book today!

Détente au calme, avec un sublime paysage

Au bout d'une petite route, au milieu de nulle part, un gîte "La Bouillerie" dans un cadre exceptionnel, au sein d'une propriété tout autant exceptionnelle, Didier nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Le gîte nous a comblé, tant par son intérieur très cosy, sa cheminée de feu de bois, qu'avec son charme rustique avec de beaux meubles anciens. Très belle vue sur le parc, nous avons passé 3 jours de détente au calme, le but de ce séjour. Hyper agréable le spa, dont nous avons adoré le jacuzzi en plein air. Hélas notre court séjour nous a empêché quelque peu de se faire masser. Je ne vais pas trop vanter cet endroit car le jour où nous voudrons y retourner, il n'y aura pas de disponibilité pour nous. Home sweet home

L'accueil par Didier, le propriétaire, est parfait. Vous rencontrerez un véritable gentleman sans cesse soucieux de la qualité des prestations et du conforts de ses convives. La maison est magnifique et tout a été pensé, au millimètre, pour le bien être de ses hôtes. Homme de culture et de tradition, il vous prodiguera les meilleurs conseils pour découvrir une magnifique région ruche d'histoire et de culture. Impossible d'être déçu. Laurent et César.

Bulle idéale à 2h de Paris

Pour notre tout premier noël avec notre bébé nous rêvions de cocooner au calme et au vert près d un beau feu de cheminée et on osait rêver en prime de pouvoir goûter aussi au plaisir d un spa... Et si tout ca pouvait être accessible sans avoir à prendre trop la voiture... eh bien ca existe et c est ici ! difficile de trouver plus ressourçant et très difficile de rentrer à la maison après ca, même quand on est très bien installés chez soi :) Les hôtes sont accueillants, charmants et extrêmement discrets tout en étant parfaitement disponibles si besoin. Une bulle feutrée idéale pour se retrouver tout en se perdant dans les petits chemins de nature autour ... Cerise sur le gâteau (ou plutôt sur la tarte normande ) : la ville d orbec et de bernais avec toutes les commodités sont à deux pas ! Au gîte les aménagements intérieurs la deco et les équipements (par exemple la literie) sont d extrême qualité le tout avec un cachet rare ! Parfait!

Calme et détente. Exceptionnel.

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end en famille à la Bouillerie. Bien que très bien renseignés par la description fidèle des lieux faite sur le site, nous avons été, dès notre arrivée, surpris, ébahis par la beauté du domaine et l'impression de sérénité qui s'en dégage instantanément. L'accueil de Didier Collin fut charmant: présentation du gîte, de la propriété, de l'espace détente, et quelques conseils touristiques précieux, surtout si vous aimez la cuisine normande... Le gîte en lui même est vraiment très agréable et confortable, joliment décoré; dépaysement garanti. Soirées au coin du feu, petits déjeuners derrière les baies vitrées en contemplant la campagne, balades en VTT ou à pied dans les bois environnants, et enfin, détente dans le jacuzzi en bois et en plein air. Ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté. Un séjour réussi, à renouveler.

merveilleux

Le site décrit parfaitement le gite. C'est un havre de paix magnifique, très bien agencé et équipé. La décoration est chaleureuse, le travail que Didier a réalisé est bluffant, bravo ! L'accueil est des plus sympathique et ils n'hésitent pas à vous faire partager leurs adresses locales. Nous étions venus pour nous reposer, et nous avons pu cocooner au coin d'un bon feu de bois. Nous pourrions continuer encore longtemps comme cela à vous décrire ce que nous avons ressenti, mais le plus simple c'est de vous dire : courrez y!!!!!!!!!

Traumhaft!

Dieses Häuschen ist ein Traum. Für zwei Personen garantiert, aber wir waren mit unseren beiden Töchtern dort und es war mehr als ok. Die ehemalige Destillerie ist urgemütlich und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das riesige Gelände, auf dem gelegentlich auch Rehe zu Besuch sind, garantiert eine optimale Entspannung und die herrliche Umgebung lädt zu kulturellen Ausflügen ebenso ein wie zu eher sportlich geprägten. Die überaus freundlichen Vermieter, die im Herrenhaus wohnen, laden gelegentlich zum Aperitif. Im gerade fertig gestellten Wirlpool kann man den Tag ausklingen lassen und, mit Blick auf einen 400 Jahre alten Kastaniebaum, den Sternen und dem Mond beim Aufgehen zusehen. Erholung pur! (Wer Spaß am Fahrradfahren hat, bringt allerdings besser sein eigenes Equipment mit)
