About this property

Our little shack brings loads of comfort and a warm feeling of home. Perfect accommodation for wedding guests and only 3 mins walk to Coronation hall.
Suits skiers and weekenders with 3 car accommodation off street and long driveway to back and park your boat in without unhooking.
A bright and airy fresh clean feeling and open plan with a tranquil deck for chilling after a day of fun n play.
Suitable for a family of 4 -5. Bookings are strictly limited to maximum 6 persons only (extras are not permitted). Maximum 4 adults.

We love our neighbours & our home & therefore NO parties are permitted. In fact, out of respect for our neighbours, no loud music or noisy behaviour after midnight will be tolerated.

Breaches of these requirements will affect return of your Security Bond.

Our property has only 2 external security cameras that are NOT to be tampered with. If you don’t like the cameras on the deck and driveway then please don’t book. The cameras cover the whole deck area the front door and driveway.

BOND/DAMAGE CLEANING PROTECTION - We do take a $500 security bond which will be refunded 14 days after your stay as long as no damage to furniture/fixtures has been made. If the property is left dirty and messy, we will also take additional cleaning costs out of this bond. Put all dishes away in cupboards before you leave (don’t leave on sink).
PLEASE NO High heels to be worn in the house.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING !
Smart Tv and WIFI provided. Bose surround sound system. Access to Stan and Netflix.
Split system air conditioning for heat or cooling.
Laundry facilities, washing machine & dryer along with iron and small ironing board.
Shower over bath and separate toilet.
Cleaning policy that house is to be left as found otherwise bond will be used to pay for additional cleaning fees.

Review of premises

I would like to give 5 stars for the communications between myself and the owner. She was very accomodating and helpful. Prompt in her responses and very clear on her expectations. As to the premises, the quaint little cottage style home was well appointed, newly renovated and very comfortable to accomodate 4 adults. The premises was tidy and well kept and I would definitely recommend this property to others wishing to stay in Somerset dam village, only a 5 minute drive to the dam.

Just perfect

Our son married at Sommerset Dam and our family and friends booked properties at Sommerset Villiage. This property was perfect for my husband and I. Very clean & tidy and had everything we needed. I would definitely go back.

Always important to us to take time out to chill and cherish nature and the fresh air.

Why they chose this property

We spent many weekends and holidays here raising our 2 gorgeous kids in the fresh air with fun n play skiing on the dam and in the safety of a fabulous community. This home has had a few renovations over the years having been originally a workers cottage when the dam wall was built. This place won’t let you down if you’re chasing a sweet little home and a relaxing get away with all the comforts you need.
