Breathtaking surrounds

The property was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent. The views from the surrounding hills were just gorgeous. Highly recommend!

I rented this home for the weekend during a business trip. My colleague and I love to get out of the city on the weekends and we picked this area because it was located only an hour from Brisbane. When we arrived after dark, the instructions that Malcolm sent ahead of time made it so easy to open the gate and get into the home. Once inside the house, we were so pleased at the large kitchen, and the living area. We then looked at the bedrooms and were so pleased to find 3 beautiful bedrooms. When the sun came up the next morning we were thrilled with the beautiful view and the sounds of the birds! I personally was so impressed at all of the details of the house. The vents in the top the the upstairs bedrooms made the air move so it never became hot. The living room was inviting and had games and a WONDERFUL book about the property and describing the history and features of the "off the grid" home. I cannot say enough about how responsive Malcolm was to any messge. We even extended our stay and he was very welcoming for us to do so. When we went back to work on Monday we talked so much about it that some of our collegues want to stay there! The town of Dayboro which is just a short drive away provided shopping and local restaraunts. We also went to Mr. Mee and hiked to the top and that was amazing! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our time at Cascade Cottages was!
