Wonderful!!

Some friends and I stayed here as a midpoint location for the Tyler Azalea Trail, and the Palestine Dogwood train ride. The house was exactly as described and was well and above what we expected. The host was very helpful with questions and info about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet get away for some family time

Visiting to ride the Texas State Railroad in Palestine and wanted a family friendly option close to Tyler and on the water. The house has everything you need, loved fishing from the dock and making s’mores in the fire pit.

Great place to stay!

Everything about this property is pleasant and is a great place to stay. It was professionally cleaned and very spacious. The lake and dock were very and the fan on the back deck was a great touch! Joel is very helpful and left a binder with coupons, hotspots and helpful instructions with the house. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay!

I needed this!

I didn't realize how bad i needed to get away from my day to day life until i sat in the chair and put my feet up. I even stopped fishing because the chair sucked me in and said Don't move!" Perfect spot! Perfect quiet! Perfect host!

The Deck at the Lake House

My niece and I very much enjoyed the early morning coffee on the deck. We watched the migrating geese flying low to the water. The home was very clean and decor was nice and bedrooms were spacious.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

This house is exactly as described! Very clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We spent a few days during spring break and were very happy we found this place. The kids enjoyed fishing and loved the fire ring and horse shoe in the back yard. It was great to have a private dock just steps away from the house. Lake Palestine resort is within walking distance, so if you need extra bait, you don't even have to get in your car.

Great stay at Lake Palestine

I rented this property with 3 friends for a club tournament at Lake Palestine. It was exactly as described. Very clean, and well provisioned. It has the perfect amount of parking for 2 trucks with trailers & boats still hooked up. It's also about 2 minutes away from the boat launch at Lake Palestine Resort. I would gladly stay here again. Thanks!!

Lake livin’

We booked this location for a weekend staycation. It was absolutely amazing!! Joel is the owner and was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was superb at communicating from start to finish. The deck is awesome and the house had everything we needed plus more. If you’re looking for a great place to rent for your travel dates, look no further. My boyfriend and I will be booking again. ❤️

Perfect lake getaway

This property was truly home away from home. It was very comfortable, from the hammock on the deck to the beds. The kitchen was very well equipped to prepare any meal along with plenty of games for family fun. The sunsets from the pier were priceless. It was hot, so the huge fan on the deck was a wonderful touch. The resort right around the corner was a great "beach" getaway for the kids. I can't say enough about this property...they thought of everything! There's a Dollar General right up the road for any forgotten incidentals. Book it and enjoy!

Girl's Weekend

The house was perfect for our party of three. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. Each bedroom had a box fan (which I needed because Walmart was out of stock). We were close to a grocery and liquor store. Also, much closer to Tyler than we realized so went into town to explore. Took advantage of being lake front and did some fishing. We are already talking about this place for our next girl's trip!
