The best way to enjoy Wellfleet! Fabulous 3BR/2BA conveniently located close to Gull Pond, Newcomb Hollow Beach and Wellfleet center. This sweet home has been perfectly set on a beautifully wooded lot and offers sun-filled kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Open concept living and dining with hardwood floors throughout and cathedral ceilings. Two Spacious bedrooms and updated bathroom on main level. Second floor offers one more guest room with updated full bath. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available upon request at an additional cost.

Secluded Gem Near Gull Pond

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a wonderful vacation we had at this home. The location was great as it was just a short bike ride to Gull Pond & only 3.4 mi to White Crest. Plenty spacious for our family of five. Nice amenities in nearby WellFleet Center. The only partly negative is lack of a/c, especially on the last few humid nights. Recommend bringing window fans. Overall, very satisfied with this rental property :)

Nice, well-maintained house in great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic: so convenient to the ponds, the ocean, and town. The house was very clean and well-maintained. My only two issues are small ones: there were just a few, old metal dry-cleaning hangers in the closets (new plastic ones are very cheap!); and there were no usable extra blankets (only the light quilts already on the beds). It would be the perfect house if there were A/C! All-in-all, we had a great stay and hope we will be able to come and stay again in the future.

Dirty and Close to Power Lines

Positives: Close to Newcomb Hollow beach, nice open concept layout. Washer / dryer Negatives: When we first arrived it was clear that the house had not been cleaned. There was long black women’s hair all over both bathrooms, (I have plenty of pictures) the upstairs was particularly dirty (cob webs, dead insects, filthy toilet, etc.). After some back and forth with the management company (who were nice and it doesn’t seem to be their fault for the record) they shared their suspicion that the owners had not done the required “spring cleaning” prior to the first rental of the season. To their credit, the management company sent an emergency cleaning crew over our first day who did a nice job. That said, it was a very stressful experience and it’s hard to just forget what you walked into. We had to relocate for several hours while the house was cleaned and couldn’t unpack. The management company apologized and said they would send us a $50 gift card to a local restaurant which we’ll see if that materializes. My wife and I are not clean freaks at all, and for us to even call / complain says a lot. I also never leave reviews but was compelled to do so because it was such a bad experience. It really was pretty gross which is ironic because the house is on Gross St. For the owners to leave the house like that shows how little they care about this as a rental and for providing a good experience for their guests. They don’t deserve your business. I would not recommend renting this house.

Great house and location; Needs A/C!

House is great-good size, open floor plan, good yard, deck, grill outdoor shower. Super close to ocean beaches and ponds, quick drive to town. Quiet wooded setting. Only complaint, but a major one, is that there is no air conditioning- not even window units. I know from renting elsewhere in Wellfleet that most houses have added at least window units in bedrooms at this point. I would not rent this house again solely based on lack of bedroom A/C. It was too hot to sleep comfortably without it, even with fans. Summers in 2020 are hot-A/C is a must especially for what you pay for a week’s rental. It’s a shame that this one thing would prevent us from renting this house again because everything else was awesome!
