About this property

Vega lake Retreat - a unique mountain escape with all four seasons!

Home is nestled on the east end of Vega Lake State park. We will easily accommodate 15 persons in the house. If you have a larger group, please message me, we also have a cabin , RV spots available and an historic sheep camp available for use

Home has a Master bedroom with a King bed, Loft area with 2 twin beds and a full size bed, upstairs bedroom has two queen beds, living room has two (queen size) sleeper sofas, a newly renovated game room with a queen size sleeper sofa and cabin has a queen size bed. 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, hot tub over looking the lake and views to die for.



We have satellite based internet- it will stream one devise.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:

(2) RV hook up’s with water and 20 amp service. $25 per night charge

1 Cabin with a full size bed - $75 per night charge .
2.Studio apartment recently renovated. Upstairs (above the garage) full size bed, twin bed, full kitchen and full bathroom- $150.00 per night

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Clean and put away your dishes. This is a pack it on : pack it out property. Take all trash with you, there are dumpsters around the lake or at the rv dump station at east end of lake.
Secure hot tub cover with straps provided.
Make sure all water is turned off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

It was the perfect location for a family reunion. The only disappointment was that the promised included kayaks and inner tubes appeared to have departed with previous guests. The extra table leaf allowed us all to eat together and the outdoor fire pit greatly contributed to our ability to watch the July/August meteor showers.

My friends and i rented this place for their wedding, and we had a blast. Property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy. Views from the jacuzzi were breathtaking. Spacious rooms, game room, and host was quickly responsive. Would highly recommend!!

The views are beautiful from the deck and the space accommodates a large mixed group of adults and kids comfortably. We rented the whole property: house, apartment over garage, cabin and all 3 RV hookups.House: Clean & plenty of sleeping options. Huge deck was great for grilling with amazing views of the mountains, reservoir and milkyway! We were disappointed that there were no kayaks for use as advertised and that the house sits beyond walking distance to the lake which was vague in the listing. The hot tub was great! We didnt use the fire pit due to the fire ban- but that wasn't the hosts fault or an issue anyway since its summer and the lake was calling. The cooler wasn't operational in the house and it would have been nice during the hot day. It would have been OK to cool the house with open windows at night but a lot of windows didn't have screens so we had some buggy visitors attracted to the inside lights. Water usage out there is on a well so you need to be very mindful of how long showers are and how much water you use.Apartment: Cute and comfy! The queen bed was really nice!! And it was great to have the additional bathroom.Cabin: Loved how rustic - think glamping RV Hookups were regular outlets so make sure you have a 3-prong adapterOverall its a lovely place to get away from the world, the wifi worked great at the house when you need to be connected and you can count on not having cell service anywhere else beyond that; which is a beautiful thing.

Absolutely blissful

This place felt so private. We were so comfortable in a well maintained home, while also feeling like we were camping in the middle of nowhere. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Also there were more beds than we expected with the pull out couches! So happy with our experience and would recommend to anyone.

Wedding celebration

Oversea friendships developed online during the pandemic met to celebrate a wedding. This place offered the space indoor and out for celebration, wedding ceremony and gorgeous views. Kitchen well stocked for a lot of cooking. Appreciated the availability of all the extra sleeping space.

Great secluded location. Awesome fire pit, house, & grill! Only about 5-10 minute drive to where we could put our boat in. We were initially planning on traveling for my brother-in-law's bachelor party but with Covid going on that wasn't possible. Kaleb was very accommodating.
