A lovely self-contained studio apartment in an antique colonial home (c.1760) 400 steps from the Ocean (Old Garden Beach). Recently renovated to include a touch of Tuscany (even a beautifully tiled walk-in shower), guests can enjoy the sunshine of a walled garden, while sipping their morning joe. Stroll down the hill to the delights of our beautiful seaport village (lobster anyone?), and make this quiet, air-conditioned flat, the perfect location for a short break or a summer long vacation.

Another terrific stay

This was our second stay here and it was just as lovely as the first time. This cottage is so well-equipped, clean, comfortable, quaint, and exceptionally well-located. The owners are fantastic. Can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing stay in Rockport!

The guest cottage was perfect for my husband and I for our first stay on the east coast! The cottage was fully equipped with anything and everything we needed and an easy walk into town. So easy to park and check out a few other cities around also. Would 100% recommend to anyone to stay!!

Cozy with Excellent Location

The rooms were wonderfully cozy and very clean. The walk to downtown is 10 minutes. We met Ken once and he is very friendly. Communication with Ken prior to arrival was fast and very helpful. We would stay here again without hesitation. It was a wonderful long weekend away.

Communicative and kind hosts!

We enjoyed our trip to Rockport and the location of this property. A five minute walk to the beach or 10 minutes to downtown. What could be better? It’s split between a modern section where you will sleep and the more historic portion of the home - so a very unique place to stay. The bathroom is in the older section but beautifully renovated. Everything is very thoughtfully done. The air was a little damper in the older/lower portion of the cottage, understandably.

Charming and convenient

The apartment was better than advertised, a real treat. Lots of character and within walking distance of the village center and several beaches. We contacted the owners only to announce our arrival and departure, as we had a busy itinerary and knew our way around the area, and they responded quickly. Don't worry that it doesn't have a sea view. You're just a quick walk to stunning ocean views. Book a show at the Shalen Liu center, within walking distance for most folks. It's a beautiful building and books some great touring acts. And make reservations for dinner at Feather and Wedge far in advance (we lucked into a no show table). Thanks Ken and Debbie for one of the best rental apartments we've ever stayed in.

Charming property in a great location

The property is exactly as described (updated, charming, etc.,), and proximity to town and beaches is ideal. A little noise from the upstairs main house, but otherwise a relaxing and restful stay. I would come back and recommend to friends without hesitation.

Perfect stay minutes to downtown Rockport!!

With a little touch of European flair in every room, this is the perfect stay in Rockport!! We had a great 3 night stay in this lovely guest cottage equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Walking distance to beaches, downtown and everything that Rockport has to offer! Ken was extremely welcoming, accommodating and responsive to all our inquiries. From check-in to check-out everything was fantastic!! Thank you for such an awesome experience!

The Perfect Romantic Getaway

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. The property is spacious, spotless, and enchanting, and an excellent location. We were so comfortable here and didn’t want to leave. Ken and Debby have done a beautiful job!
