Situated in an exquisite, private community on the Gulf side of Scenic Highway 30-A is the charming WaterSound West Beach coastal retreat. The community is seated adjacent to Watersound Beach on the beach side of 30A.

The gated community borders the Deer Lake State Park and Watersound Beach providing numerous amenities for vacation enjoyment such as a gated swimming pool area with private grill and fireplace, winding trails, nature areas, plenty of green parks and boardwalks, putting green, and is just steps away from the exclusive Watersound beach.

Our property is a recently completed build with newly appointed furnishings throughout, seated on the central lagoon offering beautiful views of the water. Just step directly out back to the private boardwalk which leads straight to the poolhouse and entrance area to Watersound Beach. A five minute walk to the pool and beach boardwalk. There is a main house that sleeps up to eight people. The optional carriage house that sleeps up to two adults one small child is not available for rent this season.

The cornucopia of features, include: hardwood floors throughout, half paneled wood walls, cottage style V-wood trim, granite countertops, tankless water heaters, dedicated ice machine, Sub Zero Refrigerator and more.

Great family spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Watersound West Beach. The home is well-equipped and the living area is perfect for family movie time or games. A bonus is the proximity to the lake and the pool.

Fantastic Property

The house was very clean and organized. Roomy, well stocked, and in a perfect location. The host was very responsive and organized too. One of our best rentals in the 30A area over 12 years. We will be back.

Great place

We loved staying in Watersound west and our house was wonderful! Had everything we needed. The grandkids loved feeding the turtles and fishing. Beautiful private beach, never crowded! Harry was super nice and easy to get in touch with!

Our family has been coming to 30A for over 20 years and I can say with confidence that this is the best property we have ever rented. For starters, it is beautiful and exceptionally well appointed. The boardwalk to the beach is lovely and the beach itself is utterly pristine and not crowded. Harry was a delight to work with, incredibly responsive, and even replaced the Keurig that shorted out within one day! It was a truly wonderful vacation and we cannot wait to come back.

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful rental with a great view of the lake from the back porth! The house is brand new and immaculate. The location within the community was great as it was a quick walk to the beach and the pool area. It’s also nearby to many restaurants and entertainment. Owner is really easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

Amazing Vacation

This property has an outstanding location located in quiet gated high-end community. We truly enjoyed relaxing on the covered back porch watching the Masters with the private lake in the background. Kitchen is set up perfectly with high end appliances and outdoor grill. Our kids had a blast with the open area park with grass only a 2 minute walk, pool is a 5 minute walk and ocean/beach is a 10 minute walk on a private boardwalk. The big green beach wagon was perfect hauling the kids and beach gear! Having two master bedrooms was also a plus! Harry was a great host and provided everything as described! We will plan to return again!

Beautiful Home in Watersound

We had an excellent experience staying at this house in Watersound. The house was incredibly comfortable and situated in a quiet, secure gated community, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing family beach gathering. We rented bikes and this made it easy to access everything on and off of the property. The beach is just a short walk or bike ride away, making it easy for us to enjoy the beautiful coastline whenever we wanted. The house itself was spacious and well-appointed, with four full bathrooms and one half bath, which was a huge convenience for our family. The host was exceptionally responsive and provided excellent communication throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The house was immaculately clean, and we particularly enjoyed the great outdoor seating area, which was conveniently located near a boardwalk and a picturesque lake. Overall, this rental was the perfect spot for our family beach gathering, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and serene beach getaway.

Impeccable home in our favorite 30A community

This home, located in WaterSound West is a well appointed, absolute gem of a property. It’s outfitted with a great deal to make a very comfortable stay. Would recommend and will hopefully stay here again in future years.

Amazing experience!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as described in the listing. Gorgeous home, fully stocked kitchen, great location- close to pool and walk to beach was peaceful and perfect. The beach was not crowded and the teens had an awesome time biking around, hanging at the pool and beach, eating at The Hub. Overall a fantastic week and can’t wait to return! The host was wonderful and responsive.

Family Vacation 2021

Our stay was very nice. The house was great. There we’re only 7 of f us this year so we had plenty of room We didn’t even need the 4 bunk beds All the beds were very comfortable. And the kitchen was stocked with the pots ,pans, dishes, baking pans you would need or want! The blender was a plus. I would recommend staying at this home for anyone!

Very nice stay on beautiful 30A

We enjoyed our stay - house was clean, beds were super comfy and it was an easy walk to the pool and beach. Kids enjoyed feeding the turtles off the back dock and the outdoor space was perfect for evenings. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Most everything we needed was on site but we did have to buy some beach towels and beach toys for the kids as those were not provided. Overall great stay!

Family vacation

This is a great property! My husband and I hosted a week long beach vacation for our two adult sons, our daughter-in-law and our three young grandchildren(ages 6, 4 and 5 months). Even with this many people we were able to spread out in this spacious luxury home, all with our own space! It couldn’t have been a more perfect set up. The owner is very accommodating to our needs. The neighborhood, pool and beach are quite and not crowded. We rented bikes which we could ride to the beach but it was an easy, beautiful walk as well. The home also came with a very large wagon which you could load with your cooler and chairs and pull to the beach. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was incredibly clean and well cared for. The house was close to the pool with a bit further to the beach. The neighborhood was nice and quiet despite the rest of 30A being crazy during spring break. Harry was prompt with his communication as well.

Watersound West

This was an amazing, well appointed property within a gated community that offered everything a family would want for a vacation. The owner was helpful and a pleasure to work with. The large heated pool was never crowded and only a 5 minute walk on a safe boardwalk from the house. The private beach access led to a beautiful beach which was not crowded. The total walk to the beach was 15 minutes or so with kids but was worth it. Be aware though that the closest restroom facilities are back at the pool.

Great House

Overall great stay. House is very clean and modern. Great location to bike to the beach and hub. A longer but doable bike ride to seaside and rosemary. Plenty of space in this home and nice to sit on the back porch and read a book or watch tv. Also nice that watersound beaches never get that crowded. Would stay here again.

We loved our trip this year. We travel to the 30a every year for the past 10 years. This is our second time to stay in Watersound West and we LOVE the area. The house was perfect and we love the beautiful scenic walk to the beach.

Private quiet beach location

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay at WaterSound beach. Before we even arrived we knew we had chosen the perfect property. We travel to 30A every summer for a week beach vacation and have stayed in many rentals along 30A. This property was perfect. It was located at mile marker 15 which made the location great for other nearby activities. The property owner was easy and accommodating to work with. I had constant communication with Harry. The property was clean and very well maintained once we arrived. The neighborhood is upscale and quiet with a beach location that was next to a state park with zero people on the beach. It was a real treat not to have to deal with fighting crowds to find a place to set up our beach camp everyday. The owner did provide a heavy duty beach wagon for getting our beach gear to the beach. The walk is a bit lengthy from the home to the beach, but it’s a very easy boardwalk the entire way. The home has a large screen porch with TV, lounge seating, dining table and built in gas grill, all of which made gathering as a family after a day on the beach great. The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen tools for cooking, serving bowls, lots of plates, silverware, cups and high-end appliances. All were greatly appreciated, since we didn’t eat out during our stay due to CoVid. 4 bedrooms each with its own private bathroom and a built in bunk area gave us room to spread out. Comfy beds and plenty of linens were provided. Our family very much enjoyed our stay and we’re already looking at the calendar to book for next summer!

The Perfect Retreat

We were looking for a place in South Walton, FL to escape the current realities of the world and we found it in Watersound West. This is a beautiful property located in a quaint, quiet, relaxed, and private neighborhood. It was the perfect spot for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, ages 14 and 12). The house is beautifully decorated and the appliances are top-notch. As soon as we arrived at the property, we went to the local Publix grocery store and stocked up on our food and drinks. All of our meals were cooked at the house, which is equipped with plenty of pots/pans, utensils, silverware, plates, cups, etc. We even made up sandwiches to take to the beach in our cooler. A special bonus is that the house sits right on the lake. My kids loved being able to walk out to the dock and drop their poles in the water each day. The beach is literally a 10-minute walk down the pier, which is only for the residents in Watersound. We rented bikes from Butterfly Bike rental and that was a great way to explore the area and get some exercise. Harry, the property owner/manager, was very responsive, knowledgeable of the area, and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend renting out this property in Watersound! We definitely plan to return.

Excellent stay & Owner

The home was perfect for our family vacation - very quiet beach & area - which was desired given the current environment. The home is a short ten minute walk to the beach - made easy with the wagon included with the house. Even better you can bike down the boardwalk to a very short final walk to the beach. The home was Excellent as well - very comfortable seating & high end kitchen. One other plus is the kitchen is very well stocked - both in terms of plates/cups/etc but also cookware & such. I would definitely recommend - the owner is also very helpful with local suggestions & recommendations.
