Private House with ocean views, downtown convenience. This place has it all! Located in the heart of the quaint village of Niantic CT, this recently updated house has 1450 square feet with 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms. The rooms are bright and sunny with lots of nooks for working at home. You will love this charming house with your own entrance, patio and walking distance to two beaches, restaurants, PO, pharmacy, and theater. This is unique house filled with great art since it was previously a gallery. The boardwalk, along the ocean, is across the street with access from Cini Park or Hole in the Wall beach. Beach passes are provided in the summer. No charges for boardwalk or beaches in the winter. For extra character shoreline East train passes in front. The house is winterized, cozy, and warm; great for solo adventurers, business travelers, family and maybe one furry friend.

Spring Get-Away

We were very pleased with the ease of checking in, the cleanliness of the home and Frances, the owner was very attentive - any questions or concerns, she was quick to respond. Having restaurants and bakeries within minutes of stepping out the door was a pleasant change for us and very convenient, since we are used to a life in a very rural area. During your stay check out Rocky Neck State Park for the hiking trails and beach area and Harkness State Park, beautiful 800 acre old estate with expansive shore line and sm beach area, lots of areas to relax and picnic. Out of state residents will be charged a fee during the summer season.

We loved the house. The views are great ! The fact that we were able to bring our dogs with us was amazing! Great fenced in backyard! The location was perfect! Near everything ! Fran was very helpful! Would definitely go back ! Highly recommend this house !

Wonderful long weekend

Great house with lots of character and conveniences all in a perfect location to enjoy all that Niantic has to offer. We brought our poodle and went for long walks every morning in the terrific park along the water. Enjoyed the great bakeries in town and the seafood right next door. We can certainly recommend a stay here when you crave some time for yourselves.

Note: Town beaches are Cini Park and Hole in the Wall, both about 5 blocks from the house. Beach pass are provided in the summer. Rocky Neck State Park is12 minutes by car and Harvey's beach, approximately 20 minutes by car, See websites, Harvey's or CT tour.

What makes this property unique

You are renting a free standing house, not shared with anyone, ensuring privacy. Your own back yard. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, theater.
Parking for 2 cars in front on the brick pavers.
Shoreline East train passes across the street and takes about 4 to 6 seconds to pass. It is not loud, in fact some find it rather soothing. Unfortunately it runs the length of Connecticut by the shore so we are accustomed to it as are most guests.
