The Log Cabin - Cosy holiday cabin at the base of Mt Buller

The Log Cabin is located in the perfect spot to capture the winter sun in natural bush surrounds. This two bedroom, one bathroom house sleeps 6 with plenty of space to stretch out in the open plan kitchen, living, dining area. Relax by the wood burner fire or get out and take a stroll along the nearby nature walks or bike trails.
The cabin contains Bedroom 1 with queen bed and Bedroom 2 sleep 4 with two bunk beds (single bed bunk & king single bunk). There is a small shower room and separate toilet.
The living area has both wood heating and split system heating/cooling.
The living room doors open on to a large wrap-around deck with picturesque views of the bush and surrounding hills.
There is onsite parking for two cars.


Sawmill Settlement is at the base of Mount Buller village and ski fields. PLEASE NOTE:
The Log Cabin does NOT have a bath, dishwasher, television or wifi.
No schoolies/party groups.

Perfect for a snow getaway!

We booked this property for our weekend away of snowboarding at Mt Buller. It was in the perfect location to travel to and from the slopes each day. The place was clean and warm and had everything we needed! We would definitely like to stay again next snow season! Thanks Helen!

Affordable prices, new renovation, clean and comfortable. A very good time for us to play board games at night. Two bars in front of heating/ air-con is a really good design to dry our clothes after back from Mt Buller.

Very stylish cabin, set amongst trees. Very relaxing escape without modern distractions (tv, wifi). Great fireplace to keep the family warm whilst playing games. Super close to Mt Buller!

Interschool snow sports accommodation

Thank you so much, location was fantastic, and to wake up with wild life at your front door was amazing. House was spotless, stayed up here for interschool snow sports, had a place for snowboards and hanging space to dry our snow gear. The fire was awesome and definitely kept the whole house warm. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Highly recommended this house.

Beautiful and clean

This place has a great location, cozy, tidy and functional. Five stars goes to the rail adjusted in front of the split system - our clothes was crispy dry every morning, ready for a new adventure, the best feature ever! The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the pots and other utensils, nice and clean. The communication with the host was swift and full of super useful details.
