A great little spot to explore Whangarei Heads from. A lovely little cottage with nice views to Mt Manaia plus all you need for a comfortable stay. Lisa was a great host.
Perfect place to have a holiday, and the location is great. Lovely and very friendly host Lisa is ready to answer any questions or provide a help. Clean and tidy cabin with plenty of space creates a nice atmosphere.
Really enjoyed the stay. We received a warm welcome. Jess the dog is a darling !! Great position for walks to Smugglers Bay, Ocean Beach & of course Mt Manaia. Many thanks
Amazing little rural slice of paradise. Great self-contained unit, a fab view of Mt Manaia, eating places nearby, lots of walks and beaches, and playgrounds. Lisa is the kindest host, going over and beyond. Thank you Lisa! Highly recommend! No faults.
This is a lovely cabin, based in the countryside, looking out across bush to beautiful Mt Mania. It is in a great location with gorgeous beaches and bushwalks nearby. It was cozy and warm, with bifold doors that can open up on warm days or evenings. Fairly clean. All cooking utensils are provided, but no complimentary tea, coffee, sugar oil, or milk, (as there often is when you hire a holiday home), which is important to know: the nearest shop is 15 minutes drive away in Parua Bay and it closes at 7pm. Lisa was friendly, and her dog Jess was a sweetie girl
Enjoyed a lovely break in this comfy cabin. Beautiful location. Friendly host, had info on site for any local activity you might think to take part in and a variety of books, dvd and chromecast if you're staying in.
Lisa’s Craypot Cottage was perfect for we four. We needed somewhere quiet but close to the Hundertwasser Museum in Whangarie. This was just right.
Lisa’s cottage was very well set up and she looked out for us.
An excellent place to stay.
Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable. Good location for exploring the Whangarei Heads area. Cottage is near to the main house but felt private enough and host was great.
Our family of 4 had a great time staying here for a couple days. The area was lovely and the views of the mountain from the Bach were amazing. The Bach had everything we needed and was close to surf and family we had come to see in Onerahi. We would come back again for sure:
We arrived at the Bach and received a warm welcome from our host Lisa. We instantly felt comfortable and relaxed. The Bach is located on a farm with extensive views to Mt Manaia and beyond. As you approach the property you immediately embrace the farm lifestyle. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need, great attention to detail. We enjoyed engaging with the residents made up of sheep and chickens. The decor is nice and homely even with a library of great holiday reads. We loved our stay at the farm and will certainly be back. Thanks Lisa for making our stay so enjoyable and stress free!
Property scrupulously clean, comfy beds and super comfy couch. Lovely rural setting with owner close by if u need instructions to get the DVD player going 😆.sweet little beach at bottom of road for swimming/fish and chipping/wining etc. And even a lovely dog Jess to provide my doggy fix while away from home. Had a great minibreak 👍
Clean, homely, comphy beds, great amenities, hop skip and jump to Urquharts Bay, awesome hosts

Property was lovely and clean, had a great space, kitchen with all you need, felt cosy and you could tell it was well cared for and loved by hosts. Host Lisa was fantastic, very friendly and kind; taking our 3yo to feed the ducks and see the sheep. Would be great in both summer and winter!
Craypot Cabin was well-equipped and comfortable. It is in a fabulous rural location, but close to many beautiful Northland beaches and stunning Mt Manaia (well worth the climb). Lisa was a great host - available in her nearby house if you needed her, but otherwise your privacy was respected.
