We love Beaver Run's location, ammenities & shuttle service. However, this unit is dated. Furniture needs replacing. Sink wouldn't drain. Decor is lacking. Pillows are uncomfortable & small. Book directly through Beaver Run Resort to save on all the fees.
This is our 7th time staying at Beaver Run. It is a great place to stay any time of the year. This was our first time staying in this unit. I was extremely disappointed that the property management company, Great Western Lodging, used my information for more than the reservation.
Our experience with this VRBO stay was disappointing and stressful from start to finish.First, our reservation wasn't processed correctly, leading to a long wait to check in – in the snow – because someone had triggered the building's fire alarm. Not the best start to a vacation. To make matters worse, the system attempted to charge me twice due to using a foreign credit card. Despite this being a banking issue outside of my control, I was threatened with eviction, adding unnecessary anxiety to the trip.We had also disclosed in advance that my partner’s service dog (a seizure alert dog) would be accompanying us. Despite this, we faced complaints, which felt disrespectful and dismissive. The unit itself had clogged drains and an unpleasant smell throughout our stay.If you’re a spring breaker looking for a wild time, this might be the spot for you. But if you're hoping for a relaxing ski trip without constant hassles, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
The property was a little beat down and on the cheap looking side. The kitchenette sink felt like it was going to pop off and start spraying water all over the place. The lights and lamps looked very old and rickety.
Also, it was very odd that check in is at 4pm? Not sure I've ever been to any hotel or resort where check in was so late. Checkout was at 10. Again, that seemed early, but not as ridiculous as the check in. The wifi on premises was so slow I could not login with my PS5. This is not the hotels fault but other guests were incredibly rude to include what seemed like purposeful and aggressive door slamming at all hours. Front off staff were less than courteous or professional. Just seemed like they did not want to be there, all of them.

Great location, shuttle was hit or miss - generally understaffed property
This ski-in / ski-out condo was very convenient for a weekend at Breckenridge resort.
The unit had everything we needed but the kitchen is not ideal if you want to stay in and cook meals.
Everything worked well except the sliding screen door to the balcony which was off the track and could not be re-attached.

Really small condo
We've stayed in the building and same square footage condos in the past, but this one felt so, so small. The layout with the ultra large shower area made the rest of the condo feel small. Besides the upgraded shower, and the newer kitchenette (but missing cabnet doors), the condo felt dated and run down. Stained carpet. We love Beaver Run, but would never stay in this unit again.
Beaver Run is at the best spot in my opinion being at the base of peak 9. Truly ski in / ski out. I think IRS worth noting that this specific condo only has a mini fridge so we could not store groceries easily for in-room lunch etc as planned. But the shower makes up for it! Also there is no full length mirror. But we had a blast & would definitely stay here again!
