The house was perfect. Beautiful views of the lake, quality accomodation, fully functional kitchen, very comfortable bed, total cleanliness, friendly host, and even a personalised welcome sign. What more could we want. Thank you Josie. We loved our stay at your beautiful Lake House.

Thank you Sue. I look forward to hosting you again one day. Always welcome back 😊
Very happy with the overall stay and experience. The lake house was very clean, well stocked and the views were stunning. The owner was very friendly and helpful with all questions. Would happily stay again!
Lovely setup, a lot of equipment supplied and easy to use, general living supplies like, towels, blankets, bathroom necessities, kitchen appliances all at your disposal couldn’t have ask for a more organised and fun stay at a holiday house perfect for that getaway spot to forget about the world and enjoy the little things.
A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We were only booked in for two nights but would love to have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be able to visit again one day.
Couldn't believe the place was even nicer than the pictures. Booked as a surprise for a babymoon and my wife loved every minute of it. All the little details the host puts into the place really make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn't have been better, great value.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Josie’s Lake House in January 2026. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that Josie had gone above and beyond to make our stay feel special and comfortable. The house was immaculately clean, and the thoughtful touches, including a welcome sign, wine and snacks, coffee pods, and cooking essentials like olive oil, herbs, and spices really stood out.Waking up in the lake-view bedroom and watching the sunrise over the water was an absolute highlight. We loved making the most of the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, then relaxing on the deck’s bean bag chairs while playing board games. Our evenings were spent cooking in Josie’s well-stocked kitchen and unwinding with Netflix on the huge TV.This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Thank you so much, Josie, for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Thank you Rianna. Always welcome back. It was a pleasure to host you both.
This place is in a great spot. The house itself is big and well appointed, kitchen is well stocked appliance wise. Beds are comfy. Shower is sad with touchy temps and low pressure.
Would still recommend other than the shower.

Thank you Anna, I appreciate you taking the time to review my property. I’ve had over 75 stays on another platform and you’re the first person to mention the shower head. It’s a large soft fall shower head. Nevertheless, your feedback is important to me. I will definitely have it checked.
Josie
Josie’s place is beautiful. So comfortable and clean and we felt right at home instantly. The sunsets were amazing. We took the SUP boards out one morning, easy walk down to the waters edge. If staying in this area, I suggest you plan your meals in advance. Josie’s kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans etc to make meals at home. During the peek of the holidays, it’s hard to book in anywhere for a meal or the waiting time for a seat can be long. We loved The Lake House. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay a bit longer on our next visit to the area.
My name is Josie, I love family time, travelling, snow skiing, boating, water sports, generally just being outdoors. Sharing our property and allowing guests to enjoy this beautiful area and receiving wonderful feedback, as a host, is very rewarding.
Why they chose this property
We have spent over 15 years on various holidays either on a boat on the Myall Lakes or accommodation in Smiths Lake. We love the area so much that we decided to purchase this house and allow others the opportunity to experience this beautiful location and to make the same wonderful memories just like we have.
What makes this property unique
The house is very unassuming from the outside. It's upon entry that you discover just how beautiful this house really is and the feeling of being high in the tree tops. With high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. Large oversized windows that allow every bit of sun to shine in, an open plan living area, large top and bottom decks. The sunsets are spectacular with the most amazing colours that are truely different every time and can been seen from both upper and bottom decks including main guest bedroom and it's waterfront. Approx 50mtres to the waters edge which makes carrying your water equipment much easier.
