We had a fantastic stay at this property and would love to visit again! It is located a short walk from the beach on Superior, and very close to downtown businesses in Marquette. The host was very nice and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this property!
We had everything we needed and more. Super close to the beautiful beach. Great location for local attractions as well, especially if you're a foodie or a microbrew person.
We have stayed here several times and love it every time. The location is ideal, the owner is helpful and kind, the house and yard are perfect for a family or group of friends.
This home is very nice and clean. It is very close to the beach and a major biking/walking trail. I really enjoyed the backyard and fire pit. While the host was very nice, we are living in the age of virtual check in so having to be walked through the property felt unnecessary.
The house was clean and comfortable. The backyard was stocked for relaxing in hammocks or sitting by a fire. Walking to the beach was easy. There’s laundry machines available if needed. The cookware was a little sketchy. The small frying pan was a challenge to clean as no amount of oil or butter kept eggs from sticking. We slept well and enjoyed our time. Our host was very nice and helpful as to what was available in and around town. We went to their farmers market and got fresh produce and homemade bread for meals.
Place is Exactly as listed. Convenient location for the Ore2Shore Bike race. 1/2 mile from packet pick up & finish line. On a quiet street, yet walkable to beach, Blackrocks Brewery, etc. Bikeable to get to Iron Ore Heritage Trail. Love our Summer Weekend Marquette visits!
Check-in was easy and the kitchen is well-stocked. Easy access to a beautiful sandy beach and Marquette’s fantastic paved bike path. Only negative is that all of the windows in the front room/kitchen are sealed shut! There is a window air conditioning unit in the kitchen, but it would have been nice to let fresh air in. The front door has a screen and can be left open, but there is no cross ventilation in the front half of the house.
Dave’s home in Marquette is a great little spot at a great convenient location to everything. The home was clean, just spacious enough, had everything we needed and the sun rises were unbelievable
Walkable to beach, trails, NMU activities, and 3rd St restaurants and shops! Attentive owner was very responsive to any needs. Beds very comfortable. Backyard great for an afternoon hammock nap and campfire evenings.
Dave's place was awesome! He was very friendly, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Our group really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the ability to walk to downtown restaurants/bars. We'd definitely stay again!
Just the right size! Not cramped! Very close to Lake Superior (walking distance), close to downtown Marquette, and just blocks away from Northern!

Great house, great location!
This house was perfect for our stay. We met the owner at check in and he provided a good rundown of everything. The location can't be beat, as it is close to all the Third Street bars and restaurants, and just a short walk to a really nice beach. Definitely would recommend this place!
