Renovation included a fully equipped kitchen, furnishings, flooring, walls, doors and windows in great room area, baths, bedding, Washer/Dryer, & Dishwasher. Cable TVs, covered oceanfront porch and outside shower. Soak in the sun and relax while making memories that will last a lifetime for your family and friends at Katydids. No Pets. No Smoking. Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay on Oak Island. The house was perfect for two couples with young children. Kid friendly open floor plan with not much for several toddlers to get into. Great view from the covered porch. Just steps to the beach. We are planning to stay again next year!

The only complaint I have is that the bed pillows were so thick it was impossible to sleep on them and the pillow cases made it worse because they were too small so we had to stuff the pillows in and it made them even worse because there was no way the flatten them. Pillow cases were too narrow for the pillows. Also most people like to relax to tTV while lying in bed and there weren't TV's in all bedrooms and the 2 there were , were 16" what good is a 16" TV???? Seriously put a 30" in each bedroom at least. Other wise nice place

Girl"s trip

We had an outstanding and relaxing visit to Oak Island. Our VRBO was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. Right on the beach. Great restaurant just 2 miles down the beach.
