We had an amazing time! The place was immaculate and there were no surprises. The views of Lake Erie were spectacular and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We will be staying here again.
Beautiful and comfortable cottage directly on lake Eerie. The views are to die for. Our family of 7 stayed the week and it was very comfortable. In terms of attractions, we went go karting down the street, for ice cream at Ship Ahoy, jet skiing, to the movies in Leamington and to Freddy’s for a dinner out. We spent lots of time at the cottage swimming, sun bathing and having campfires. We hope to be back next year so we can see Point Pelee National Park which we weren’t able to do this time. I highly recommend!

Everything was pleasant. Rooms were clean and bright, kitchen well equipped. There didn't seem to be any dishwasher pods but host dropped some off for us promptly when informed.
Beautiful place, and an excellent location right on the lake. Very serene. The hosts were wonderful as well. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
This was our third stay at this wonderful property, and it was every bit as perfect as the first two. As birders who enjoy cooking our own meals, we really appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the easy drive to the national park, and the absolutely beautiful sunset views. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Place was amazing. Very clean and great location and atmosphere. Hosts were very accessible and answered questions right away. Very close to the national park. Highly recommend!! Thank you.
The house was immaculately clean, and very nicely renovated. The location was perfect for us, being walking distance to the park. The amount of beach available at the property is probably very variable, however no matter what, an adventurous person could swim there. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The sunset views were absolutely stunning, with the cottage located right on a private and peaceful beach—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The newly renovated interior felt fresh and modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also very comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for a family vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery and cozy accommodations.
The location is amazing and we enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The home is very clean and the kitchen well stocked.Although the homes are very close together along this road, it was incredibly quiet - we did not see or hear any of the neighbours. Megan is very responsive and we would certainly stay here again!
This cottage has all the amenities needed for a family vacation where you can cook meals in and it’s close to wineries and restaurants to go out. The national park is within walking distance and the ferry is not far away.
Great stay, enjoyed by everyone.
Amazing place - brightly remodeled, and Impeccably clean and furnished. Stayed 3 nights with 2 other couples, spent most of day in the park then returned here for carryout and to relax. Made one meal here, kitchen well stocked. About 10min walk to park, perfect for our birding trip. Can't wait for next year!
Came to visit Pelee national park and stayed at a fabulous cabin on Lake Erie. This updated cabin has a subtle artsiness. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Hosts were very accommodating and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place. I personally plan to return
The property is lovely, clean, and welcoming. We loved being so close to Pelee National Park and the sound of the waves along the beach. Mike was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again and again. :)

Thanks Vanessa for the kind words! We enjoyed hosting you guys and you’re welcome to visit anytime! 😊
Love the awesome views of the lake from family room or dining area. Relax while looking at sunset on the deck or 2nd floor balcony when outside. And love love love the master bedroom - spacious tub, floor to ceiling windows and nice touch with yoga mat. You set the bar high for cottage stay.
We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and birders, and our stay at this property was nothing short of outstanding. The interior was impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation, making it easy to enjoy homemade meals. The sunset views from the property were breathtaking, and we especially loved spending our evenings by the charming outdoor fire pit. This location exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
This property offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Outside receives sunlight from dawn to dusk, and access to water. There are so many windows to provide natural sunlight and an amazing view of the water. You don’t have to leave the property to have a fulfilled weekend. However, there are many things to do in the area as well.
We had a fantastic time at this amazing spot! It’s absolutely gorgeous there! The place was way bigger than we thought haha We were blow away. Mike was awesome and went above and beyond to help us. We definitely want to come back again!! Thanks for a great time!! 😁😁

The owners of this property are wonderful. The fridge wasn't working due to a power outage. They came to check things out within 20 minutes and had the fridge running within a couple of hours. Super friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. It would be nice to have a shower in the main bathroom. And also it would be helpful to have a lamp and mirror in the basement bedroom but overall it was excellent.
Mike went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of, responding within a few minutes to questions and even showing up at the door to fix a small problem moments after I asked about it.
Megan and Mike are terrific hosts!
Upon arrival we noticed the property was well maintained and the interior was spotless and modern. We had only one issue with a ceiling fan that didn't turn on. We called Mike, who returned our call promptly, and worked with us to figure out the problem. The home has plenty of cooking and room necessities to be comfortable away from home.
I would 100% recommend the hosts and this property for a comfortable stay!
Between the gorgeous decor, privacy and proximity to Point Pelee National Park, this property is indeed a bit of "paradise" - my husband, myself, our teenage daughter and senior mother enjoyed our early July visit immensely.Mike and Megan were very responsive to our (minor) inquiries and their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on. Great hosts! The property is absolutely spotless and soothingly decorated, with an unreal view of the waterfront from the living and dining rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional, and the bedrooms were comfortable (great patio off the principle suite!) with nice separation for privacy. The outdoor space on the water is small but there is enough space to hang out; the sun loungers were especially appreciated. It may be difficult for the very young and those with mobility issues to climb the breakwall ladder to directly access the water. We brought our paddleboards and were able to tip them over the wall easily - the access to the water is much appreciated, especially when the lake is warm and shallow enough to enjoy a swim whenever you'd like! The property is very close to Point Pelee National Park, which is why we booked. We rented bikes (quite affordably) and took several cruises through the park with our teenager - there is little traffic in the area. I can also envision biking into Leamington -- hopefully next time!Just a head's up that the area is buggy in July - bring lots of repellent!
This was our second time staying at this incredible VRBO, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first! We visited for Family Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect in every way.1. The View: The view of Lake Erie is breathtaking. In winter, with the lake frozen far out, the landscape looks both desolate and stunning—something truly special to wake up to every morning.2. Point Pelee National Park: Visiting in the off-season was a dream—no crowds, just peaceful trails and plenty of wildlife, including so many wild turkeys! It felt like having the park to ourselves.3. The Kitchen: We love to cook, and this kitchen is a dream! Fully stocked with everything needed for meal prep, perfectly laid out, and so easy to use. We made all our meals at home, even coming back from the park each day for a hot lunch.4. The Hosts: Mike and his team go above and beyond. Mike called the day before we arrived, worried about us driving in the forecasted snowstorm. While we were on route, he texted to say he had salted the steps but reminded us to be careful. Then, the next morning, he showed up and snowblowed everything! The care and attention to detail are unmatched. We would rate this 11/10 if we could. This place is officially our go-to spot, and we already can’t wait to come back!
