Very cute beach house. Nicely renovated. The AC is great on hot days and multiple ceiling fans help keep things cool. The 2 bathrooms are great to have with 4 guests. The hot water and pressure in the shower is fantastic. The sunsets from the backyard are gorgeous!Minutes from Point Pelee National Park is really convenient.
We had an amazing time! The place was immaculate and there were no surprises. The views of Lake Erie were spectacular and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We will be staying here again.
Beautiful and comfortable cottage directly on lake Eerie. The views are to die for. Our family of 7 stayed the week and it was very comfortable. In terms of attractions, we went go karting down the street, for ice cream at Ship Ahoy, jet skiing, to the movies in Leamington and to Freddy’s for a dinner out. We spent lots of time at the cottage swimming, sun bathing and having campfires. We hope to be back next year so we can see Point Pelee National Park which we weren’t able to do this time. I highly recommend!

Laurie, you and your family were amazing to host! Nothing makes us happier than to see a family enjoy the cottage as much as we do. We appreciate your kind words and review of our property. You left our place looking like you weren’t even there, very nice and tidy. Thank you and we welcome you back anytime. It was our pleasure to host you!
Take care,
Mike& Megan
A beautiful clean and bright vacation rental right on Lake Erie, equipped with everything we needed. Short drive into Leamington which has an awesome beach and picnic area (and ample shopping options) and a two minute drive to the front gate of Pelee National Park with lots of beaches and hiking trails. The water/beach in front of the cottage was nice for swimming also but definitely a challenge for small children or some adults to use the ladder to climb up and down to get there. A con, the third bedroom is in the basement and you need to walk upstairs to the main floor to use the washroom. Not many channels on the TV but not there to watch TV anyway. The host arrived on-site ASAP to fix the AC issue; very much appreciated!! Amazing lake views and loved watching the ships go by - bring your binoculars!!! Would recommend this rental. Thank you Mike and Megan!

Everything was pleasant. Rooms were clean and bright, kitchen well equipped. There didn't seem to be any dishwasher pods but host dropped some off for us promptly when informed.
Beautiful place, and an excellent location right on the lake. Very serene. The hosts were wonderful as well. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
This was our third stay at this wonderful property, and it was every bit as perfect as the first two. As birders who enjoy cooking our own meals, we really appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the easy drive to the national park, and the absolutely beautiful sunset views. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Place was amazing. Very clean and great location and atmosphere. Hosts were very accessible and answered questions right away. Very close to the national park. Highly recommend!! Thank you.
The house was immaculately clean, and very nicely renovated. The location was perfect for us, being walking distance to the park. The amount of beach available at the property is probably very variable, however no matter what, an adventurous person could swim there. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The sunset views were absolutely stunning, with the cottage located right on a private and peaceful beach—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The newly renovated interior felt fresh and modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also very comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for a family vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery and cozy accommodations.
This cottage has all the amenities needed for a family vacation where you can cook meals in and it’s close to wineries and restaurants to go out. The national park is within walking distance and the ferry is not far away.
Great stay, enjoyed by everyone.
The location is amazing and we enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The home is very clean and the kitchen well stocked.Although the homes are very close together along this road, it was incredibly quiet - we did not see or hear any of the neighbours. Megan is very responsive and we would certainly stay here again!
Amazing place - brightly remodeled, and Impeccably clean and furnished. Stayed 3 nights with 2 other couples, spent most of day in the park then returned here for carryout and to relax. Made one meal here, kitchen well stocked. About 10min walk to park, perfect for our birding trip. Can't wait for next year!
My husband and I read reviews and are grateful for the honest feedback given by other visitors so are doing the same. This home was clean, tidy, and nicely air conditioned when we arrived. Driveway parking was convenient, and there was a secondary spot across the road which was a nice option. The kitchen had everything one would need, but didn't have a large pot (corn pot), which you may opt to bring. The bedrooms were spacious and the linen was lovely. Lots of closet space. There was only one small shower but it was sufficient for 2 people and the limited time we were there. House was a bit choppy - but not a deal breaker - and there wasn't a lot of comfy seating (sofa and chairs in the living room and dining room weren't great). The TV in the principal bedroom did not work at all, not even when we tried to use the TV's on switch. Converted didn't work. There were NO window coverings on the large window of the principal bedroom, which meant neighbours (who are quite close) could see in at night when the lights were on, and during the daytime. Very strange. The photos on the listing don't accurately represent the drop to the beach from the back yard. It was at least 8 feet down a ladder. There was no way to walk to the beach, so I couldn't use it. NO PRIVACY in the backyard. My husband said the water was lovely and beach was sandy. Propane tank was empty and there were no full spares provided. Easy walk to the entrance of Pelee National Park. All in all a good stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and honest review. We really appreciate you highlighting both the things you enjoyed and the areas where you feel we can improve.
We’re glad you found the cottage clean, comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently located, and that you enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, linens, parking, and beautiful beach and water. We also appreciate your note about the kitchen and will look into adding a larger pot.
We would like to clarify that this is a cottage, rather than a traditional home, and that its amenities and layout are represented accordingly in the listing. The TV in the primary bedroom was working properly before your arrival, so we’re not sure what may have happened during your stay. Regarding the propane tank, we always try to provide full tanks for our guests. If you had let us know, we would have been happy to bring out another one right away. We respond promptly to guests during their stay and are always happy to address concerns as soon as they arise.
We also want to clarify that the primary bedroom window is tinted and triangular, making it very difficult to find a suitable window covering. It is not possible to see inside through the window during the day, although guests may certainly take additional precautions if they prefer. The window tinting, existing window coverings, and the breakwall are clearly shown in the photos included in our listing.
Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re always looking for ways to improve the guest experience and appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Mike & Megan
Came to visit Pelee national park and stayed at a fabulous cabin on Lake Erie. This updated cabin has a subtle artsiness. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Hosts were very accommodating and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place. I personally plan to return
The property is lovely, clean, and welcoming. We loved being so close to Pelee National Park and the sound of the waves along the beach. Mike was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again and again. :)

Thanks Vanessa for the kind words! We enjoyed hosting you guys and you’re welcome to visit anytime! 😊
Love the awesome views of the lake from family room or dining area. Relax while looking at sunset on the deck or 2nd floor balcony when outside. And love love love the master bedroom - spacious tub, floor to ceiling windows and nice touch with yoga mat. You set the bar high for cottage stay.
We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and birders, and our stay at this property was nothing short of outstanding. The interior was impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation, making it easy to enjoy homemade meals. The sunset views from the property were breathtaking, and we especially loved spending our evenings by the charming outdoor fire pit. This location exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
This property offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Outside receives sunlight from dawn to dusk, and access to water. There are so many windows to provide natural sunlight and an amazing view of the water. You don’t have to leave the property to have a fulfilled weekend. However, there are many things to do in the area as well.
