Gorgeous outdoor space

Stu was all you could wish for in a host. The outdoor space around the Casita is absolutely wonderful! The saltwater pool was fun to dabble in and the water fountains and lovely landscape gave off such calming vibes. The kitchen space is tiny, but we actually did cook most of our meals there. It is noisy at night from the bar behind the Casita and more traffic noise than we are used to living in the country ourselves, but we felt the beautiful outdoor space and the wonderful host was well worth putting up with that. We would love to go there again.

Tropical Oasis

Our stay was like a tropical vacation all on its own! Lush landscaping, well appointed furnishings, crystal clear pool, quiet peaceful outdoor patio spaces. It is a truly lovely and convenient studio space with everything needed to make morning coffee or light lunches. Our host even has an outdoor grill ready to use for anyone who would like stay in for dinner. We highly recommend this little Casita Bougainvillea .

Perfect Little Paradise!

My stay was fantastic! The location was safe, centrally located to Florida's best beaches and attractions! The home I stayed in was so charming. The gardens were so beautiful! The pool was so elegant I felt like I was floating on clouds and in reality it was an inflatable shark pool toy. The staff was incredibly helpful and they called to let you know about any routine maintenance going on. Will plan on coming next year and will recommend to my friends as well!

Perfect place

It is in a nice neighbourhood not far of the beach, shops, restaurants and attractions. The house is tiny but perfect for 2 persons. Cupboards are a little bit messy. Too much stuff of former tennants. Garden is fabulous with lot of space and clear water in the swimming pool.

Sarasota cottage

Very nice property owner. He heated the pool to 84 degrees for us. The cottage is small. Our fault we should have read the description better. Very noisy because of the bar behind the cottage. Bathroom has a sliding pocket door which is right at the head of the bed. This cottage would be perfect for a single person. A toaster would also be a nice addition.

Casita in Sarasota

Cozy, studio arrangement was ideal for me, friend visited and stayed a couple days. Superb location to keep the doors open, sitting areas. Ideal location, space, furnishings for me. Tucked in off a main highway. Walking or short uber rides, from everything I planned downtown, beach, swimming, ocean activities, grocery. Airport is a short uber ride. I stayed 9 days and did not rent a car. Bus is an option for longer distances. Exception was a couple days of activities in Temple Terrace/Tampa area north, with a friend who had a car. Unlimited activities nearby. I would recommend and return to this location.

Paradise getaway

The property is in a great neighborhood and has several beautiful blooming gardens and friendly gekkos in the ordoor space. The pool is well maintained and mesmerizing. I admittedly came back early from outings and the some of Florida's best beaches just to float in the pool! The home is small but very efficient. You have access to an outdoor grill, if you want to dine in or dine out with a variety of good restaurants nearby! I also highly recommend taking a daily morning brisk walk to Jack's Donuts. The owner makes great donuts and often sells out (he also has a cool car!) After my stay, I felt peaceful and well-rested. It was one of my most favorite vacations and I highly recommend this location if your, mind, body and soul needs a break!

Okay place, just not what we expected..

We booked to stay at the casita for a week, property is cute & pool is nice. Although the casita was much smaller than we thought it would be & the kitchen is very tiny. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working and wouldn’t be fixed until the day before we left. Very inconvenient. Would not recommend staying here for a week long visit (just not practical) We ended up leaving after just three nights and had to find another place to stay because we had no Wi-Fi and my boyfriend needed it for work. Also would like to mention that the beach that is less than a mile away is not really a beach, more like just a waterfront area with one bench. Felt like them advertising it as close to a beach is deceiving. Overall I think the place could use some upgrades.

Charming casita in good location

This place truly is charming. The small casita is nestled behind a gate with beautiful foliage adding to the privacy. It is located quite conveniently to many of Sarasota's many attractions. We were well taken care of by Sheri, the person who helps manage the property. We needed to contact her on a couple occasions and she responded quickly and took care of our needs. The pool was a pleasant surprise. It looked small in the pictures so we assumed it was even smaller than we imagined but the fact is, it's nearly 5 feet deep at its deepest part. And while it is small, we got great use out of it and found it more than adequate. What would make this place even better would be the addition of some supplies - some bowls for eating cereal and the like, a dish rag or sponge and kitchen towels, hot water in the kitchen, more than one knife for cutting, a light in the kitchen, a bed that doesn't sag in the middle with sheets that fit, soap, and some other basic kitchen supplies. We often find foil or wrap, salt/pepper, etc. at rental units. Not necessary, but nice. We ended up buying many of the above things so we could function better at mealtime.
