cute cottage, close to town but far enough away to be very quiet. Did some hiking, rock hopping on a couple of.rivers, caught a show at Bearsville Theater, just a great 3 day weekend. Wish we had more time to enjoy the patio, but everything was wonderful. Will stay again when in the area!
Very nice cottage in the woods. We saw deer multiple times during our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well functional. The second bedroom is up on the second floor and there is only one bathroom (first floor). We were close to things we needed and things we wanted to do, so worked perfectly for our stay.
This cottage is beautiful. Exposed hand-hewn timber craft beams, some original hardwood floors, beautiful wooden doors, gorgeous sculptures, and 5 minutes to downtown Woodstock, NY. Woodstock is a very cool town, artsy, restaurants and lots of music. The Bearsville Theater is right down the road from town and concerts galore. This cottage brings back the real good old days of the 1960's music and simpler, peaceful and less divisive times. Enjoy the vibe at this wonderful cottage.

Great stay!
Great experience at this place! Check in was very easy (even in the dark when we got there). The house was super inviting. Old time charm mixed with modern convenience. Repurposed hand hewn barn beams contrasted with beautiful tile work and white marble bathroom and shower. Perfect for a couple's getaway, but any more than a few people and it would be a bit crowded. Hope we can get back there if we’re in the area.

Pleasantly surprised at how charming it was in person. Nice touches like multiple style coffee makers and coffee made a nice homey touch. The location was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights but I wished it was longer. I would go back again and would recommend to friends and family. Indeed cozy and near hiking and other attractions.

Beautiful modern cottage, perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The bedrooms are nicely setup, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is ready with all the necessary kitchen essentials. The bathroom was was very modern and had all the necessary items. Wonderful cozy, cottage, close to Woodstock, NY.
The property was well maintained and exactly as described. They have put in some unique items that make the little differences. The bathroom is warm on a chilly day and has lovely toiletries. The options for coffee were plentiful. I will stay again when we are visiting family in the area.

Charming cottage
The house is well located and nicely decorated. There is space for 6 to sleep and hang out although just one (really nice) bathroom. Coffee and all essentials are supplied and there is a patio outside. the stairs to the upper level are steep so those with mobility issues should consider that. We had a good stay and would visit again.

This lovely weekend getaway for my little family was well needed. We all absolutely loved the cottage. None of us wanted to leave! The cottage felt like home as it was stocked with all things a person would use and need in the home. I absolutely love the bathroom heated floors. The kitchen had to be my favorite. Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be booking again for future getaways near Woodstock area

This is such a cute little cottage. We had everything we needed. It was cute, clean, quiet, and conveniently located.Thankfully, the second couple that was going to stay with us canceled. The small spaces and the one bathroom being off the kitchen would have been difficult to manage. I would not recommend this for more than 2-3 people. Also, the 10am checkout time is unusually early for rentals and the host is completely inflexible about it.Overall, it is a very cute and comfortable place.
My boyfriend and I loved this little cottage so much we never wanted to leave! The kitchen was a nice size and well-appointed. The downstairs bedroom is a nice size with a big, comfy bed. The bathroom and kitchen are both modern and look recently refurbished. We loved the overall design of the home. (Although it was odd to have the bathroom be off from the kitchen!) Everything was easy to find, including the lockbox and keys. No real complaints except the TV was old and wouldn't mirror to our devices and it was a bit hard to find where to put the garbage out. Also, if you have any kind of mobility issues, the upstairs bedroom is a no-go. The stairs are too narrow and steep. Fortunately, everything we needed was on the ground floor. Would definitely return to this location!
It's a beautiful, clean little property but there were inconveniences that indicate we probably won't stay here again. It's all small stuff and that's what made it so frustrating.
. A toilet brush container that fell over and was full of water!
Disgusting.
. No paper napkins. C'mon!
. No aluminum foil? Please.
. A ridiculous drain in the bathroom that wouldn't let the water
go down. Never seen THAT before.
. No dishwasher liquid so we couldn't run the dishwasher!
Called Tonya and she was great so don't blame her.
. Two kinds of coffee BOTH of which were super strong. We
ended up buying cold brew. COFFEE? That's basic.
. ONE bag of loose tea that gave no indication what kind it was
and no tea ball to make it in. NO TEA BAGS? First time we've
ever seen that.
. A battered old lock box that was difficult to both open and
close. A $40 fix.
The overall impression we got was that the owner was just too cheap to provide a first class experience. Too bad.

Excellent!! Beautiful house! Very comfortable! There were even a couple of frozen pizzas in the freezer-we didn’t need them-but what a great thing to have as travelers!!
This quaint home is a great location, close to the heart of Woodstock. The house was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was still a great size to fit 2 adults and 2 toddlers. It was clean and really well decorated.
Couldn't have been more perfect. The house was designed just right and had everything we could possibly need. The patio was the sleeper hit of the trip! Coming back for sure.
Great space, though listed for 6 people, hard to climb attic stairs (narrow and small, not to code) for 2 bedrooms of 3. A few light bulbs were burned out upstairs and there were no pillow cases on several pillows, downstairs and upstairs. These are minor concerns - lovely property, quiet, great space.
Great getaway 5mins outside the town of Woodstock!
FYI! THIS IS NOT THE AREA WHERE THE FAMOUS WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE. THAT AREA IS CALLED BETHEL, NY.
My partner & I loved this space. Great for an escape from NYC living. We grilled, we litt the bonfire, we cooked plenty fresh local food, we watched a movie and lived our best lives. We had a picnic on the grass in the back. We enjoyed driving into town, walking around, shopping and mixing with the locals. I would recommend this place to anyone. No real complaints! (except maybe more wash cloths, sharpen the kitchen knives & clean the dishwasher)
This cottage is very close to Woodstock. It is very clean and you can tell that the owners put some thought in how they decorated it. It is very cozy and updated. We loved the outdoor patio with string lights, grill, and fire pit. You can't go wrong with renting this cottage. I'd rent it again in a heart beat.

Family Adventure to Woodstock
Enjoyed the cottage very much and would absolutely stay there again! Cozy home. Close to everything.
The few things I would recommend would be to do a check for things like garbage bags (only 1 for 3 nights), light bulb out in a bedroom lamp upstairs, only 1 extra roll of TP which seemed like we could have used more for 4 people. The ice maker in the freezer didn't work and there were no ice trays for us to make ice. Maybe add another chaise or 2 on the patio so everyone can be comfortable around the fire.
Please note, that these are all minor little luxury's that wouldn't stop me from staying again the next time my family travels to Woodstock!
This was a beautiful little house! Although not large, everything was designed to be efficient and comfortable! We stayed with my 1 and half year old twins and a couple friends. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was beautiful and all the unique details of the house made it feel like a special getaway. The location was great! A quick ride into town and surrounding areas. We loved sitting in the patio under the lights. Thanks for a great little vacation!
We so enjoyed this well-appointed getaway, that was just the right amount of private while still being a perfect distance to Woodstock and the Ashokan Dam where we wanted to hang out! We would definitely recommend this place to friends, and we'll definitely be back ourselves!
