Retro Family Bach - Ultimate Location

Homely, original style family Bach that has everything you need for a great family holiday in Taupo. The property offers an amazing location in Five Mile Bay right by the Lake.Just a ten minute drive to town, you won't be far from the action and all that Taupo town centre has to offer. There is a walk / cycle track along the lake front that runs all the way from Five Mile Bay to the Taupo Boat Harbour.

This three bedroom two bathroom home includes WiFi and Linen, plus a Heat pump in the living area to keep you cosy in winter. With plenty of off street parkingbring your boat along to really make the most of this area, boat ramps are nearby at both 4 and 2 mile bay.

This is the perfect spot to escape the city and soak up the sunshine!

Special conditions:
Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks is fine but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours.
When making a request please ensure you have read the listing details and house rules carefully for suitability. Please include information on your group, what brings you to Taupo and who is travelling with you.
This property neighbours the lake, has climbing hazards and internal stairs so children must be supervised at all times.
Strictly no parties, a few quiet drinks are fine, but you must be respectful of the property and its neighbours.
This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults. Disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated.
When making a request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and plans for while you are in Taupō. Please note we may contact you for more information on behalf of our owners.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted and are liable for any damages to the property. We have a strict no party policy (large groups, hens, stags etc.) and do not allow functions or large gatherings.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. Respect for neighbours regarding noise and cars must be considered, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if we receive complaints.
All guests are your responsibility so please take care and parental supervision is required for all children at all times, especially around stairs, balconies, water and fires. The holiday home is not to be used as a function venue, events or activity that involve a larger number of people than stated on the maximum occupancy.
All homes are privately owned, please treat them with respect and if an incident/damage happens, report it ASAP so it can be repaired or replaced. For damages be aware that your credit card will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were on arrival. You will have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers a general service clean. If the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $40.00 per hour for this.
If you use a BBQ it must be left clean, if not a $40.00 fee will be charged for cleaning.
ALL rubbish must be removed from throughout the property on your departure; failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of $40.00 for labour and council disposal fees. Some homes allow up to ONE bag of rubbish to be left as part of the clean fee, specific property instructions will be at the home for you.
The property must be left secure and safe upon your departure. Please check all windows, doors and appliances including heaters, electric blankets, elements, and sockets before you leave the property.

House desperately needs TLC
Furniture is so old it would be rejected by an Op Shop and was very dirty. Bedroom windows all had catches so couldn't be opened properly leading to very poor air circulation. Shower has been set to super economy fine spray like mist with low pressure. Very dated furnishings and floor coverings that looked many decades old. The location is good, the rest of the experience is diabolically bad.

The property was very dated with the carpet and furniture very old and dirty. The place was a good location; but, the condition of the place negated that. We would have expected more from an VRBO accommodation and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
