Fantastic stay

A great home in a handy location. Very clean, breakfast provisions a nice touch, excellent amenities. Free wifi. Be aware there is no tv. Great communication with owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast provisions are just for the first day, this should have been mentioned by VRBO. Lovely quiet location, to get more comfort I would suggest a pillow topp mattress of (memory) foam and to get some more comfy outdoor furniture, the location is so nice with all the birdlive that it deserves nice quality outdoor furniture. Outdoor diningtable lacks maintenance.Will come back with these improvements!

Fabulous, modern, peaceful retreat

Spacious & extremely well appointed modern 3 bedroom house in a quiet bushland setting. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Living spaces were very comfortable with beautiful views & sunsets. Resident kangaroos also put in an appearance.

Wonderfully, peaceful getaway.

Very spacious, well appointed home. You feel likeyou’re in the middle of nowhere, but things are close by. We did not miss having a tv, there wereplenty of books in the house.

Friends Getaway

Fabulous weekend getaway enhanced by great, well appointed accommodation. Loved the original part of the home and the thoughtful extension with beautiful stonework and welcoming combustion fire. The bushland surrounds are beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful way to take in the start of each day.

A fabulous location, quiet bushland, no barking dogs, no passing traffic just serenity. How was great, all mod cons and well provisioned for our three night stay. Sue was always contactable and we much appreciated her attention to her guests need in a friendly and amicable manner. We could not fault Benny's Retreat and will stay again. Also the Watervale Hotel is a great spot for a long lunch.
