Beautiful location for this homely cottage. Had all the facilities we required for 5 people. Nice log fire. Kitchen a bit tight. Beds comfy. Breakfast offerings welcome, Only slight limitation for 5 people was single bathroom with toilet all in with shower, Host contact to get keys. WIFI and general contact was very good. Highly recommended
The location was great and the bread, orange juice and flowers were a nice touch thank you.
Unfortunately we experienced millipedes everywhere, in the beds, lounge, walls not sure where they were coming from but this made our stay very uncomfortable. The placed needed a good clean and we were washing cutlery and saucepans and cleaning down kitchen surfaces before we could cook our meal. The toaster needs replacing.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Nice cottage, but NOT private
This accommodation has an adjacent cottage right next to it with zero fencing in between. The back doors are less than 3 metres away from each other.
Do not book this if you are looking for a private getaway. We had noisy 'neighbours' with dogs coming over into our part of the property and someone walking right into our lounge looking for the shared laundry facilities.
This should be fully disclosed in the listing.
The cottage was located surrounded by paddocks with green crops and sheep. The front and back yard had beautiful green grass and trees with plenty of bird life. A great spot to relax and unwind. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable beds. They left a delicious loaf of bread with butter and orange juice upon our arrival, quite a few thoughtful things found around the house. Would highly recommend staying here and we will be coming back again!
Great location for getting around the Clare Valley. Nice quiet area. Well stocked with BBQ, firewood (it got cold at night), kitchen appliances etc. Fridge was very cold as it tended to freeze items at the back of shelves. Beds were very comfortable. Ticked all of the boxes. There was an attack of earwigs mainly due to the first lot of rain for a long time. (they all came out to celebrate).Overall we enjoyed the premisesThanks Peter
Very quiet area, found it to be very relaxing. Numerous steps within the home. Not siutable for people with physical difficulties. Good quality linen and comfortable beds. Property was very clean with all amenaties.
Overall I would say the property could be excellent. There were guests with dogs in the cottage next door - so close virtually attached - there are no fences and their dobermann would enjoy her No2 in the morning on the lawn just in front of where we were sitting, and the jack russell would take every opportunity do a No1 on our deck chairs. The kitchen is compact and unfortunately poorly set up with storage/crockery up and down steps though could be improved with extra shelving and a little thought. And the BBQ had just enough gas for the time we spent cleaning it - then was run out with no sign of back up.
Gorgeous cozy cottage. Perfect for a girls weekend or a family getaway.
Traditional touches and very peaceful setting.
Everything you need is right there just bring the wine and cheese.
This is a beautifully cute cottage with some beverages supplied on arrival, milk and coffee/tea. Our Property Manager/host was in contact over the weekend and it was a beautiful rural location.
Peppertree cottage was easy to find and the local stone was evident throughout the cottage. This is a multi level cottage and there is steps to the bathroom and dining area. The outside deck was lovely and a favourite spot for us all to have the provided continental breakfast (juice, cereal, bread and milk).
Everyone was very happy with the comfortable beds and mum (80yrs) especially happy with the quality of her linen.
My mother is from Minatro so it was nice to go back there. She found the steps quite difficult and that was a minor issue for her, but she was still happy with the accomodation otherwise.
Baby is just taking first steps and climbing the stairs kept us busy watching him.
I had a great time there and will think of when I can go back.
Quaint and clean. 10 yo son was happy there was internet - he didnt expect it due to being an old cottage! Love the woodfire and the beds were very comfortable.
Lovely little cottage in a beautiful part of the valley.
Guests are best advised to bring breakfast supplies, as there is only a limited range on offer, but the cottage itself is gorgeous and very comfortable.
Peppertree was perfect accommodation for our groom & groomsmen and having both Peppertree & Tickle in such close proximity worked extremely well for our needs. Would highly recommend for a getaway with friends and family.
Wonderful atmosphere, comfy beds, great hot water supply for rural accomodation, and so close to all the attractions. Mintaro is a delightful village with very special attractions of maze and Martindale Hall. The wood fire was a treat and kept the cottage cosy throughout. Great stay with our family and dog
Such a charming place. I can not think of a better place to spend my birthday. A lovely bottle of wine and some crunchy bread was there to greet us. The lovely warm fire, unbelievably comfortable beds and such a warm, inviting place to spend some time to wind down and take some time out. Plenty of places to go for a walk just outside of this delightful cottage. Our dog Milly was in heaven.
We ran out of wood and within an hour the wood box was replenished.
Can’t wait for another visit. Thank you to our hosts
Front and internal doors jamming ,difficult to open .. dangerous steps down to living area ,arriving in unlit room .bathroom heater not working ,shower floor cracked ,insufficient tea making facilities (no tea bags) only one bedroom had heating .tv remote does not work .
This property need quite a lot of TLC and updating . The saving grace of this let is the beds and bedding which were excellent Would not recommend this stay to any one until vast improvements are made
