It met our needs. It is a three story property and ours was the middle unit. At first inspection it appears clean but we walked in stocking feet and were surprised to see how dirty our socks were from the floors were. The bathroom had a small area rug in front of the shower and after steeping on it when exiting the shower the bottoms of our feet were dirty. We cleaned the floors with a swifter and it was filthy.. I would only stay here again if no other option was available.

Why they chose this property

Viva San Diego is walking distance to lots of restaurants, breweries and breakfast places as well as the farmers market and only 3 miles to downtown. to get there you can easily jump on public transport or just Uber it! Its very quick to all the San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.

Stay in or head out; eat, drink and play in North Park or downtown in the Gaslamp; relax on the balcony, in front of the fireplace or enjoy the sweeping views. And most importantly - have fun! (And let me know how I can help.)

Bedrooms include 1 with a queen-size bed and the other one with a queen and a pull out twin (makes a king) . The big sofa sleeps 2 more (e.g. Kids) for up to 8 guests total - perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways. You can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.

Viva San Diego was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own California flavor. Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has an amazing view of North Park. Gather for a BBQ in the backyard (shared with the other two units) with a BBQ grill, outdoor seating, yard games. Or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.

Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.

My neighborhood, North Park, is one of San Diego’s most historic and funky places to be. It's home to artists, local businesses, a Farmers Market, craft beer, wine bars, sushi spots, handmade ice cream, and your pick of brunch options. Guests love North Park’s neighborhood vibe, even though it’s just 3 miles from downtown and The Gaslamp. Century-old architecture and the ringing of church bells during the day in North Park add to its historic feel. And my house fits right in!

No need to worry about a car. You have your pick of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques just a few blocks away. Easy public t
