This is a excellent VRBO. Its honestly the cleaniest vacation rental we have been to in the Houston area. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are totally updated, and its such a peaceful retreat.

This house has everything you need. It’s close to restaurants and things to do, and a great location for fishing. The owner is easy to communicate with. This is our second time to stay here, and we hope to stay again!

This property is beautiful and relaxing. The beds ranked a 9 out of 10. The host was very nice and informative. Be aware If you have a problem with stairs this house is not for you. We will probably stay here again!

Bright house stay

The property was lovely. It was brightly decorated in fun herons. The rooms were all very nice, master is very large. The inside gathering space was small but sufficient. There was plenty of outdoor gathering space in both sun and shade depending on what you like and the weather. Beds were comfortable too, a big plus!

We had a beautiful stay. It was perfect. We had a family wedding in Montgomery, Texas and we needed a place to stay. We found this Lake House that fit the bill for 8 people. It was close to the Rehearsal Supper and the Wedding with a Reception in the same building. We came in from Richmond, Texas, San Antonio, and Marbel Falls. Awesome DECK!

The house was perfect for 2 adults and 6 teenagers. Plenty of room and the owner provided everything we needed, even a couple of new toothbrushes we forgot. My 26' Open Bow boat fit perfectly against the bulkhead and the water was 3.5 feet, a bit shallow, but it was deep enough to get my boat in and out. The A/C worked great which is awesome during this time of year. House was clean and cool. I would recommend this house to anyone with a large family.

Family getaway

Overall the home was well equipped from top to bottom. There are a couple things that need to be addressed. Such as the shower heads and the outdoor area. There were spider webs and wasps. There were a few loose boards on the deck. But it was still quite nice. We really enjoyed sitting outside during the crisp mornings. We even spotted several bald eagles and turtles. We would definitely stay again. We are thankful to have such a place to stay.

Attending a wedding

Overall good experience. We had to move our dates last minute due to bride getting covid and property manager worked with us to reschedule. Unfortunately property was not available on the new wedding date but we made a family trip out of it and had a great time. Beds were not exactly what we expected but we made it work. There was only 1 twin "futon" vs 2 and it was smaller than expected ( more for a child under 10). Other than that the property was clean and very nicely decorated, right on the water.

Fantastic House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Heron House. The house is very clean, has very nice interiors, and has great patio space to enjoy evenings and mornings outdoors. The host is extremely customer centric and goes an extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and they enjoy their stay. Thank you!
